give more details like, office as in nasa office lang and laging nakasaksak sa outlet? hindi laging dinadala outside?

if yes, then you can go for more powerful laptops so it can handle more tasks (i.e. i5 processor, higher RAM, SSD HDD, with switchable or just discrete graphics)). if lagi namang dadalhin sa labas then go for something that will be more power efficient so you can use it longer (i.e. pentium or i3 processor, shared graphics)

as for brand, any of the known brands will do, just avoid brands like blue and neo dahil madaling uminit ang mga yan kahit nasa office lang. sa office ng asawa ng kakilala ko puro neo gamit nila dati, wala pang 1 year (so under warranty pa) mga 3 units ata ng neo ang nasira due to overheat. buti nalang at that time yung kakilala ko may computer shop pa and sila ang nag supply so hindi namoblema sa warranty claims. pero ever since then, hindi na nagdala ng neo yung kakilala ko sa shop until na nagsara yung shop (nag migrate sa japan dahil descendant pala yung asawa)

Trust in what big institutes use : Dell (for the after-sales/tech support network) or Lenovo (simply works and durable, but ugly :P)

I'm considering that you will use these as a recommendation for mass purchase, pero kung isang tao lang naman, punta ka na dun sa may pamatay na specs kahit wala dyan.

I would personally not go for a Dell. I would rather go for a Toshiba, HP or MSI for more "stable" and durable units. If it's just for office purposes Sir, an i3 would be enough. But considering the fast changes/updates with technology today, I'd advise you to go for an i5 instead, with large memory space and light-gaming features. :)

I had bad experiences with Dell. Many of our machines heat up easily and some freezes at least once a day. Go for Lennovo.

If you want some good advice, we'll need more details from you. Like ano ba ung mga paggagamitan ng laptop?

Gagamitin ba sya for presentations? If yes, impotante ang branding para ma-impress clients so mas ok siguro kung macbook, or lonovo yoga.

Gagamitin nyo ba for designs like kung nasa printing industry ka, in which case I'd recommend something with at least an I5 processor.

Kung tipong pangtrack lang ng expenses, at low budget ka, you can probably make do with a laptop from one or two years ago.

nothing against DELL's customer support na alam ko meron sa pinas pero HANDS DOWN Dell has the worst build quality of all Laptop manufacturers in terms of quality matched only by HP's COMPAQ Brand  and ACER's Gateway Brand

Toshiba, ASUS, MSI, Lenovo are brands you should choose for quality, HP has only recently gotten itself out of the bottom of the Build Quality Limbo that DELL currently rules beside NEO

kung purely pag office and no Graphics/Video and Audio editing purposes the latest Core i3(Codenamed BAY TRAIL with Model Numbers Z3XXX) will be cheap and dependable

Bay Trails is the codename for the 4th generation I3 CPUS na pag purely Data processing lang and no gaming

Payong brand lang... Go for Toshiba, Sony Vaio or DELL...

Iwas sa HP hanggat maaari.
Maganda nga ang VAIO pero nalilito ako sa mga updates nya ang dami. Kaya hindi ko na lang din inuupdate. And I have a DELL laptop, since college ko pa gamit to until now. Its my best bud at partner in crime ko. Ayos din naman siya nagagamit ko din ito in such heavy usage.

Why iwas sa HP, ano issue sa HP laptops?

MSI or Asus. Not Dell pls. What you can do is check out all our suggestions, google for their reviews and compare them against your needs.
