[question] Razer Orbweaver vs Nostromo/Tartarus
« on: August 27, 2013, 11:41:20 pm »
Hi, guys.

I'm not really a fan of Razer except of those two.
and It's been a debate which of the two is better.
some prefer the lesser keys since they are more reachable.
some prefer the other since more macros.
some base their favor with the mechanical keys.

tanong ko lang po.
where can I find a dummy or some sort of test product?
hindi pa po kasi ako nakakahawak ng professional gaming keyboard so wala ako idea sa mechanical keys na sinasabi nila.
I actually prefer the Orbweaver since it has more keys.
pero baka hidni ko naman magustuhan ang mechanical keys.
kaya ko natanong kung saan ako pwede makapagtest nung dalawang product.

and yes, we're talking about gaming keypad (game board, or whatever term used). so, I think, open na rin ang ibang products like Logitech (G13 gameboard). I mean we're not limiting the topic with Razer.

salamat sa mga magiging opinion ninyo. ^_^

taga san ka ba? the best way would be to go a store that sells them para makita mo ang actual item

and ano mga nilalaro mong games? the reason why some people prefer the mechanical keyboards is because of the slightly faster response. so for some games where you need to push a lot of keys fast (and i mean really fast), mechanical keys might save you some time and the sound you get as each key is pressed helps too

and of course, they last longer but are also more expensive

Thank you, Sir.
Nasa Metro Manila po ako.
di ako masyado nakakapaglibot sa mga mall or store para macheck. pero, pwede po ba yun? i mean, test ko lang yung item. hindi actually bibilhin?
usually kasi nilalaro ko, shooting game either 3rd or 1st person.
dota 2 at LoL lang ang nilalaro kong MOBA.

Nostromo is around $59 and the Tartaus is $79 unless you can find an Nostromo ON SALE ho Tartarus

i would suggest Tartarus, its a newer version of the Single hand gaming keyboard, it should have improved over the older Nostromo

BUT if you have the $129 to burn by all means go Orbweaver for that FULL MECHANICAL glory and all the customization you want for the most comfortable feel you can have

but me being the cheap ass gamer, Nostromo(only on sale) or Tartarus

yun nga po, Sir.
budget wise, Nostromo/Tartarus ang bet ko.
pero in terms of functionality na, sa Orbweaver.

gusto ko lang talaga matry muna yung mechanical bago ako bumili.  ;D

Orbweaver costs 6k PhP.
