if you're gaming, the display shouldn't be a factor. rather, its the specs that you should be looking at. remember laptop yan, hindi pwede na later upgrade lang ang components
but yeah, for the budget, the MSI is a good choice. just can't remember if its ONC or OND that is better. hindi ko masyado pinansin ang MSI dati since their native displays were not capable of 120hz output but their video card could so if you use an external monitor na 120hz pwede. kaso lang asus is offering a laptop with native display 120hz so went with that.
however, my needs were a bit over your budget so ok na ok na ang MSI. my previous laptop is a MSI GT683 (2nd gen i5, 1.5GB GTX560M, 8GB ram, Full HD resolution), which had a SRP of around 50K dati, pero etong mga bago ngayon mas mura siya and should give better performance (3rd gen i5, newer video card GTX6xx series)
btw, for laptops, you should avoid the i3. while the desktop i3 has turbo boost, the laptop variants do not so go for i5 instead, maliit lang ang difference and malaking tulong yung turbo boost (auto overclocking as needed)

ayun, ang ONC pala uses a lower video card. BTW, rare sa ONC na kaya full HD ang resolution while common sa OND. so keep an eye on that
some prices I checked
