From The Portfolio Of...J. Scott Campbell
« on: June 09, 2011, 11:53:34 pm »
Comic book fans might remember J. Scott Campbell as the creator of Gen-13, Danger Girl, and Wildsiderz for Jim Lee's Wildstorm Productions. He also did cover art for DC's Justice League (while acclaimed author Brad Meltzer was in charge of writing the stories) and for the cult classic Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash limited series. One of his latest projects was supposed to be the Spider-Man comics alongside writer Jeph Loeb (Campbell already had some Spider-Man cover art to his name prior to this). However, this collaboration has yet to come to light.

Campbell is known for his "highly sexualized" and "well-endowed" illustrations of women (as Wikipedia put it rather mildly) in a style known as "Good Girl Art". So when he decided to make his versions of Disney's famed "Princesses", fans were interested, to say the least, with what the outcome would be. Based on the photographs below, it would appear that the fans were more than a little pleased (despite the absence of some of the other Princesses).
