you can do that sa loob ng wireless settings ng router na maaaccess mo via 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.0 or kung ano yung nakalagay sa manual

you can also set it up sa Network and Sharing Center when you click the wifi signal icon sa Start bar katabi ng clock, choose Setup a new connection or network

ito yung settings ko:


type mo yung default ip address ng router mo example: http://192.168.1.254

then click mo yun wireless
under wireless makikita mo yung pre shared key format: select passphrase
then set mo yung pre shared key which means yung desired password mo example: mypassword
then apply changes

bro kung kaya mo mag dl ng network magic pro gawin mo, may easy steps sila to make passwords for router since detect nila yung mismong router mo, even mac filter kaya nya.  hindi ko lang sure kung lahat ng model kaya nito i-detect.  for a newbie to average user good equivalent na to for router administrator using browser.

Basta sa airstation hanapin niyo lang yung word na encrypt dun yun na yun

here's what you need to do,

first locate the default gateway ip of your wifi router, (192.168.x.x), this is your wifi settings gui address of your wifi.
2nd type the ip on a browser and the authentication user and password will appear.
3rd type the default user name and password (username: admin ; password: admin / password).
4th locate the wifi settings on the gui page settings of your wifi, then there is a wifi network setup on the menu.
5th you will ask to put an SSID (the name of the wifi that will appear on the signal) and a passphrase (password to connect).
6th after the settings reboot your wifi router.

most of the wifi you can detect the MAC address of each machine that are connected in your wifi router, meron ding mga MAc filtering and parental control on whom machine are you going to grant an access even though they knew your SSID or passphrase.
