: Blood on stool?

Last week minsan nag poop ako everything was maroon so I suspected that there was bleeding inside my stomach or small intestine.. But after the 3rd poop everything seems to be light colored na. I'm just wondering if I could just ignore this since wala ng maroon colored which could be a sign of bleeding or I should be still alarmed?

Baka may Almuranas ka..... yon lang.... kung wala edi yon hinala mo siguro.... pero mas maganda dyan punta ka doctor....

As far as I know it wouldn't be maroon kung almoranas yun. But I'm not from the medical field so...

The color of your poop, believe it or not, matters. An optimal stool is a nice medium to dark brown color, like what you might see in milk chocolate. If it is black, it could be a sign of blood in your upper GI tract. If it is yellow or green, it could be a result of fat malabsorption or liver or gall bladder stress.

Certain foods can also change the color of your stool, such as dark greens and beets, and this is typically not a concern

black poop is blood poop, yun ang delikado and usually the 1st sign of Colon CA

joke lang. baka kumain ka ng dinuguan nung araw na yon. o kaya betamax.

nagiging ganyan din kulay ng tae ko pag dinuguan o betamax ang nakain ko.

if it's a one time occurrence then i see no reason to be alarmed... but if it is on a daily basis then the best advice is for you to see a doctor and have your stool tested... better safe than sorry ts...

Natry ko na din yan. Twice, first time pagpahid ko ng tissue medyo basa, nung tinignan ko bright red.. Dugo talaga. Nanghina ako.  after around 2 years nangyari nanaman. Nangyari sakin both nung pinilit kong ilabas. Matigas kasi. Kaya ngayon todo inom ako ng tubig kahit di ako uhaw. Nakapanghihina kasi pag naaalala ko.

Thanks sa mga input mga ka espiya. I guess I should be worried kung naging consistent na maroon or black yung poop ko na tipong araw araw. Isang beses lang kasi siya nangyaring solid maroon then yung next mejo dark then naging light na siya. Baka nga dahil sa food na nakain ko.

Patingin ka pa rin po sana TS baka kasi mamaya kapag naulit(wag naman sana) e lalo ka pong panghinaan ng loob...

Sharing my experience too.

I've experienced a red blood also after i swipe with tissue.. (Hindi uso ang tubig pang hugas ng pwet sa aprika kaya swipe kunyari) So makita mo pa lang na para ka ng nag memense eh talagang manghihina ka. Saakin hindi naman tuloy tuloy.. may araw na meron at napansin ko pag nasobrahan ng karne. Sabi saakin ng duktor hemorrhoid sa loob. probably sa sigmoid colon daw. pero ang ganitong mga sintomas ay hindi dapat isinasa-isang tabi. dapat mag patingin at masiguro na hindi ito sintomas ng colon cancer. magpatingin habang maaga pa. kung mejo dark colored ang tae for few days na. better consult your OB Gyne. este pysician. mabuti ng masilip ang loob at kampante kesa naman mamatay tau sa kakaisip at mabaliw.
