guys pa advice nman kung ano po pwedeng gamitin sa PC pra hndi maxadong mataas yung na consume nmn kuryente...dba common n sa atin yung AVR or UPS may iba pa po ba kyong alam na device..salamat..

AVR or UPS? i dont think makakabawas yun sa consumption mo. Kung gusto mo makatipid, i regulate mo pag gamit ng appliances. Bili ka ng smart appliances, aricon, ref etc. nakakatulong din un sa pagbawas ng electricity. Sa ilaw naman gamit ka ng LED. medyo mahal kung titignan pero kung long term, mas makakamura ka.

Eto oh, baka makatulong. Meron din jan about kung paano makatipid ng kuryente.

Yes. Effective yung energy saver sa handyman. We're using it for almost 4 years na ata.

kasi sir meron kakilala yung bro ko na yung net cafe daw na pinag lalaruan nila may gngmit dw n prang ups dw sa mga pc kaya ung kuryente nila halos 50% daw nbawas sa binbyran nila..my idea kyo kung ano un?>>

May nabasa ako dating thread sa ibang forums gumagamit sila ng Power Meter/Power Reader, bumabasa ito ng actual kunsumo ng electronics habang ginagamit.

Wag ka na daw gumamit ng AVR, may iba kasing brand na kumukunsumo ng 7-15 watts kahit walang nakasaksak, and naka on lang yung AVR. Surge protector or UPS daw pwede.

Tanggalin mo yung devices na nakakabit sa USB kapag hindi ginagamit.

Panatilihin mong virus free ang PC mo, viruses tend to slow your computer, using CPU resources, consuming more electricity compared sa idle lang, slowing your work, na mas maaga mo din sana natapos.

Pag nagpi-print ka, masmaganda pang iwan mong bukas ang printer kesa patay sindi lalo kung marami kang ipiprint, alam mo kapag nag power on ang printer? For around 1 min tinetest nya ang bawat part nya kung gumagana ng maayos. Umaabot ng 200-300 watts ang kunsumo nila kapag ginagawa nila un, kumpara sa 10-30 watts kapag iniwang nakabukas lang at idle.

Pero higit sa lahat, makakatipid ka kapag nag-upgrade ka ng bagong PC, gumamit ka ng Intel Sandy/Ivy Bridge/Haswell sa CPU and kung bibili ka ng video card kuha ka ng Radeon Series 7000. Syempre, LED monitors kung naka CRT ka pa din.

POwer saver is effective. Tapos ano bang gamit mo na monitor? kung gusto mo makatipid gumamit ka ng slim na monitor para hindi malakas sa kuryente..

I'll bet my license on this... there is no such thing as power minimizer... what you can buy is just a gadget that increases the resistance connected to the load to make it look like it consumes lesser power. For example, A 400 Watt flat iron with reach 100 degrees Celsius for 2 minutes and drawing about 2 amperes . While on the other hand using the so called "power minmizer" will take maybe 5-10 minutes to reach 100 degrees Celsius but drawing 1 ampere....


There is no advantage on using the "power minimizer" devices.
1. The consequence is your equipment which running on Low Voltage constantly will tend to dissipate heat more which is based to  power is equivalent to the square of current multiplied by the resistance.
2. Second is, your equipment is prone to overcurrent to due voltage drop caused by this power minimizer.

i-regulate mo sarili mo sa pag gamit ng appliances. make it a habbit na magtipid ng power..

never nakkukuntento ang tao..nakatipid ka ngayon ng kuryente, magdadagdag ka naman ng gamit.. then you'll find other means..and so on..

@ts, meron akong wire cutter. Effective yun pangregulate ng konsumo ng kuryente. Hehe

Pero serious, hindi effective ang UPS kung gusto mong mkatipid. Lalo lang lalaki ang konsumo dahil parang rechargeable battery yun. Wlang battery na 100% ang efficiency, meaning kung magpapasok ka ng 1kwh to charge the UPS, hindi 1kwh ang mahihila mo to power your appliance. Energy is always lost in the form of heat.  Kaya mas lalong imposible na magstore ka ng 1kwh tpos makakahila ka ng more than what you stored.
