may problem nga ako with my linksys router medyo mahirap iconfigure..
eto po yung router ko.. http://negenet.com/store/images/linksys-54g-india1.jpg

pagginagamit ko yung cd tumutuloy yung installation hangang step 9 lang tapos may lumalabas na na dialogue box, stating "the router was not able to connect to the internet" pero may net connection naman po ako..sana may makatulong..

I'm using Linksys... nabili ko for around 2,200 yata... hindi naman sya mahirap i configure kasi step by step naman ang instructions dun sa ksama nya CD installer, may ksama pa graphics yung steps on which cable to plug and where. So I can tell that its user friendly kahit hindi ka techie.

Almost 24/7 sya nka up sa akin since nung binili ko, hindi pa naman nag kaka problema up to now.

Sa range naman, around 25-30 steps from my router location room ko where my laptop is, and two concrete walls in between, I still have a signal, kaso 3/5 bars nga lang, but still at 54Mbps. Pero single floor lang kami. I'm not sure kung anong range ang kakayanin nung router pag vertical ang distance.

Its being used for 2 laptops and 2 desktops and using a SmartBro connection (no MAC address cloning needed for me). Not sure on how it will perform on a PLDT setup though.

meron ko both linksys and dlink.  mas trusted ko ang linksys.  my dlink disconnects after some time (both wired and wireless).  pero siguro sa katandaan na rin nung dlink ko.  as for linksys, halos 24/7 naka-on wala naman problem.  currently using linksys WRT300N (since early 2007, too early for N technology, just want to try it out).  may nakita ko review about linksys and dlink.  ill post the link once I find it again.
