295 pa rin running quad SLI

make sure you atleast have 1200 watt PSU, a VERY GOOD cooling solution for your entire system i.e. case ventilation(intake of cold air and exhaust extremely hot air), proper positioning of PC case so that no intake and exhaust vents are blocked, air conditioned room would be the ideal setup, oh and be ready for your power bill to skyrocket

it is right, that 285 has better GPU than 295...

but, 285 supports only 3-Way SLI, while 295 supports Quad-SLI, a total of 4 GPU..

that 1 GPU advantage, makes a difference...

i havent really read much about the 285s 3way SLi kaya im leaning more on the one extra GPU

parang sa kalesa na humihila ng isang damukal na bigas, ung 3 mabilis na kabayo tatalunin ng 4 na medyo mas mabagal na kabayo sa hilahan hhehehe

haha nakalimutan ko sabihin kung ilang LCD bibilin mo pag ginamit mo ATI Eyefinity... 6x 1080p LCD since 1 5870 can handle 2 LCDs at once, 2x3=6

yap IMHO mas makakatapid ka sa 5870. and tungkol sa top 15.. i think 5870 beats gtx 295 almost in all games in higher resolution. and you should also consider your electric bill since gtx 295 consumes electricity way higher than 5870.

note may 5970 na pala na parang 295GTX na 2 GPUs, na pwede i QUAD Crossfire and 2 for 4 GPUs and still works with ATI Eyefinity

depende sayo sir yung Green team or Red team ka... bakit di mo nalang sir antayin yung gt300 series imo lang po.. pero kung dyan sa choices mo my vote goes to gtx295

u can use any processors per se, but inferior ones would bottleneck your uber VCs.

No problems for the i5s/i7s though.


And i go for 2xgtx295.
