Shipping Question
« on: September 12, 2006, 11:30:14 am »
Hello, would like to know what shipping companies do you guys use when shipping packages to the Philippines.  A website or telephone number would be appreciated.  Thanks.

depends where you are. to start, search the net for balikbayan box which is probably the cheapest, but not safe. there are innumerable cases where their box is opened before they reach the destination at walang magagawa ang sender at receiver kahit magreklamo. kaya dapat mga mumurahing bagay lang ang ilagay don para di nila pag interesan masyado ang laman.

tip: kung magpapadala ng sapatos, wag mong ilagay ang isang pares. ilagay mo lang ang isa o puro kaliwa sa unang padala mo, then puro kanan naman sa next na padala. it's the only way your shoes will reach its destination safely

usually high-valued items lang kinukuha nila. chocs and used clothes may be safe, at pag nabawasan mga yon ay di na halata. just be careful in items you include, yong hindi ka masyadong manghihinayang pag nawala or nabawasan

Thanks for the heads-up.  I have been wanting to ship some car parts like pistons, cams, wheels, etc.  There must be some way to ship these items.

base on my experience ... so wala pa naman nawawala sa akin mga padala, i use LBC, manila forwarder and port of jersey... tol kung may budget naman yung mag papadala ng package eh tol mga UPS / FEDEX or dhl....

ups - charges cheaper than fedex
fedex - reliable but mahal
