Permit me to quote this line from a British fantasy novel:

"Good and ill have not changed since yesteryear; nor are they one thing among Elves and Dwarves and another among Men. It is a man's part to discern them, as much in the Golden Wood as in his own house."

If we must stand against corruption, then let us stand against both corruption "from President down to SK chairman" and corruption among "Marcos and friends". If we are to stand against human rights abuses, let us stand against both human rights abuses against wounded combatants and human rights abuses against "mga activista". Neither one must ever be "normal na protocol" in a truly just and progressive nation.
