Everyone is important

During Mark's first month in college, the professor gave his students a pop quiz.

He was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions, until he read the last one: "What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?"

Surely this was some kind of joke. He had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50's, but how would he know her name?

Frustrated, he handed his paper, leaving the last question blank.

Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward the quiz grade. "Absolutely," said the professor & he added "In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They each deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say 'hello'".

Mark never forgot that lesson since then.

Parang same lang din ito sa librarian na tinanong ko.
She's been working in the library for almost 30+years
and I asked her,.. since they have stairs....

"Sa araw-araw na baba at akyat mo sa hagdanan,
nabilang mo ba kung ilang level of stairs meron kayo?"

And then she looked at me then smiled ..,
and seez, Okey   ;DI will count it for you just give me a sec..
and then we burst out loud laughing....
(who cares anyway!)

Sometimes, in life we tend to do the usual things in the usual place, that we tend to
forget and disregard some small things.

very true...i remember one sign inside our classroom thats read "You Are Important".

and remember that a person's name is to that person the sweetest & most important sound in any language

....been there when i felt then unimportant, unnoticed & totally ignored by almost everybody but hey i bounced back & i thank God!
