Sana Makatulong...

1.

Ka-espiya, try to check the hard disks pin, somatimes kasi iba yung configuration ng mga pin ng HD meron

Master - Slave - CS OR Master w/ slave - Slave - CS.

check mo kung tama yung pin ng mga HD

2.

Look in the event viewer under computer management in the control panel. Click on sytem to see if you have any hard disk errors.

3.

Try this "CHKDSK /R" or/and "CHKDSK /F"

Goto CMD then type chkdsk <drive letter example: d:> /f

/R = Locates bad sectors and recovers readable information. The disk must be locked.

/F = Fixes errors on the disk. The disk must be locked. If chkdsk cannot lock the drive, a message appears that asks you if you want to check the drive the next time you restart the computer.

4.

Try to use this.
SpinRite is a commercial product drive maintenance utility that, for lack of a better description, does a kind of low-level format of your hard drive without losing your data. In fact, SpinRite can often recover the contents of bad sectors that other utilities, including Chkdsk, cannot. The result is that a drive can often be recovered, repaired and then safely
used again.

5.

Anu File System Format? NTFS ba of FAT32?
