hi guys ask ko lng...anu possible error dito,i have 1080p movies then i try to plug it sa led tv(may built in na usb kase)the movie is in mkv format..do i need to convert the movie para mabasa sya?the tv is 1080p already..any suggestion guy..thnx
-
your TV may not support MKV, you need to convert to AVI or MP4
-
yes... unless your unit supports mkv format...
-
sir, it's probably the format... ganyan din experience ko pag gagamit ako ng USB direct sa TV. You can convert either to AVI or MP4 format...
-
okey masterchief and the rest....tnx..converting na...i hope the quality of the movie will not change..ynx guys...
-
hinde ba bababa ung quality ng movie pagka convert? ang alam ko babababa na ung quality pag usb gamit diba? pede rin syang bumili ng media player para hinde na sya mag cconvert.tama ba ito guys?
-
yeah tama ka sir maiiba yung quality pag naconvert from 1080 to avi or mp4 format...sablay aku ng bili ng tv..wag na lng magconvert..hehe..
-
depende sa pagkakaconvert naman. Kung 1080p MKV just convert it into a different format na supported ng tv but same video resolution
-
DEPENDE sa conversion ang Video Quality
for example 1080p mkv movies usually play between 8-12gb in size so anything lower than that is FAKE 1080p, oo ng 1080p reso nga pero pangit vid quality
all you need to do is use a converter that can specify the Video bitrate of the conversion from MKV to AVI or MP4, lets say the video bitrate of the original vid is 5000kps, set mo yung video conversion to the same as 5000kbps or closest, kung gusto mo 5.1 channel pa rin use a converter that can handle more than 2 Channel stereo, if sa TV lang ang speakers use 2 Channel Stereo 48,000hz Sampling, 320kbps audio para maganda quality(CD quality audio is 128kbps)
SAME video resolution does not mean same video quality UNLESS you specify that the conversion is LOSS-LESS kasi mga presets sa ibang converting software usually lower the video quality

hindi n man siguro fake ung mga 1gig +lang na 1080p.. basta sa ganool.com galing magaganda quality ng video... 1080p there usually range 1.1 to 1.4 gig lang.. in MKV format... tinry ko ng mag download ng 1080p na movie na 10 gig at kaparehong movie na 1080p na 1.3 gig lang.. walang pinag kaiba ang quality.... kung meron man 1 percent siguro... ;D
-
try ko mamaya pag balik ko ng bahay..gamit ko converter is fomat factory 2.70..any suggestion aside from format factory na gamit ko...tnx..

NOPE laki pinagkaiba, very apparent if you watch sa 1920x1080/1080p LCD/LED/Laptops, if you watch space saver 1080p movies sa non 1080p output like 1280x720/720p display di masyado kita
as you said yung sa ganool.com maganda, oo maganda pero di bluray 1080p quality, meron ako Avatar original and extended versions na 10gb full HD 1080p and sinunod ko and i downloaded the sample nung 2gb 1080p Avatar extended
http://www.ganool.com/2011/07/avatar-2009-extended-bluray-1080p.html
and kitang kita yung pixelations on blacks and on movement, layo sa true 1080p Bluray rips na mga 8gb and up
they may have come from original Bluray rips pero they have been compressed so much to shink the size th quality has been degraded they cant be called bluray anymore

The Best observation is try to play the movie at your computer at same time. use different media player. sagot ang tanong mo sa sarili mo kung gaanu kalaki yung difference ng true hd saka ni rip lang na movie file.
-
iba rin kasi dating ng built in player ng TV sa mga media player for PC, sa PC kasi the best SPLASH PRO, kahit DVD rips lang ang ganda ng labas

Chief, why not purchase a media player instead. I have a friend who sells those things and even has a wide range of movies on his list. here's a sample of a particular media tank that i bought from him (http://www.kaskus.us/showthread.php?t=9436027). hope this helps.
-
demux then remux with the right container taking into consideration that the video contained in ur mkv file is bluray standard compliant (eg. reference frames... etc blah blah) then no re-encoding needed
