Half Billion Worth Drugs Seized, 63 Arrested in Anti Drug Campaign in Cordillera

CAMP BADO DANGWA, Benguet—More than half billion worth of drugs has been seized in the Cordillera region for the first six months of this year, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Cordillera Administrative Region (PDEA-CAR).

Chief Inspector Edgar Apalla, officer in charge of PDEA-CAR said “we are proud to say we have seized an estimated amount of five hundred seventy-nine million nine hundred thirty seven thousand and one hundred eighty pesos (P579,937,187) worth of illegal drugs based on the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value in the region from January to June this year”.
