  • Shhh.. Be quiet you might piss somebody off..
Tokyo, Japan | The Chinese Government is in panic mode following the announcement of  Admiral James Elroy, Commander of the Pacific Fleet, that a top US Defense Contractor has acquired 50 hectares (123.5 acres) of land somewhere in Southern Luzon, the Philippines. “I want to make clear that the American goal is to give manufacturing jobs to Filipino people and not to arm the country. The facility will be the biggest outside US mainland and will produce 40% of our military equipment parts, electronic warfare, and software technologies. The main assembly remains in Seattle, Washington and our facilities in Norfolk Virginia”, Adm. Elroy explained during the press conference in Yokusuka on board USS George Huffington, Tuesday morning Japan Standard Time.

Some Filipino political analysts and activists who are aware of the plan voiced out their concern as it could heat-up the tension with China and could sever the already deteriorating relationship between China and Philippines.

Ronald Snowen, the famous American Whistle Blower who exposed thousands of CIA and NASA documents to journalist Flenn Greenland said in late 2012 that America has secret plan to counter China’s growing power and that, the US will seek help from one of its allies in Asia to build its equipment. According to the report published in Greenland’s book “No Place to Run”, the main goal is to give South Korea and Japan easy access to military supplies but it was not specified what the host country is. And it turned out to be the Philippines.

The location is believed to be inside the  newly-developed 200-hectare Science Park IV in the town of Malvar, Batangas. The facility will include six huge buildings, executive houses and a single lane runway for small aircraft.

Scopolous, the architectural firm that designed the Philippine Arena announced earlier this year on their website that they acquired another “one of a kind” contract in Philippines and it is believed that populous was referring to this defense manufacturing  project.

When asked why Philippines, Elroy said the country has the best strategic maritime location that has access to Pacific Ocean and that, US and allies’ ships can sail directly to continental US, Japan, Korea, and even Australia without serious maritime threat.

Construction will start on June 2016 and more than 5,000 construction workers will be needed. The unnamed company will be expected to start its first manufacturing operation on January 2018 and 60,000 factory workers, engineers, and IT specialists are expected to join.

The report was first released on December 2012 from the confidential CIA document but was not published until last week following the official announcement from US Military. The top 5 US Defense Contractors are Lockheed Martin Corporation, The Boeing Company, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics, and Raytheon Company. Boeing is suspected to be the company. Boeing produces sophisticated air defense systems, missiles, and radars used by the US military and its allies.

This looks nice.. this way we can also gain access in a bit cheaper price military equipment.
I think even before, strategically interested na talaga ang mga banyaga sa bansa natin.
and there is no wonder why nag pu-push ang mga tsino sa South China Sea (West Philippine Sea).

  • We would like you to know a few things.
Ronald Snowen, the famous American Whistle Blower who exposed thousands of CIA and NASA documents to journalist Flenn Greenland said in late 2012 that America has secret plan to counter China’s growing power and that, the US will seek help from one of its allies in Asia to build its equipment. And it turned out to be the Philippines.

Edward Snowden already mentioned this three years ago and China didn't even pay attention? Is Beijing really so confident in its military that they never thought to pursue this piece of information?

Having said that, our state security forces and the local government of Batangas should be very vigilant if an influx of Chinese "businessmen", "students", and "tourists" start to flow into Malvar. Loose lips sink ships and all that, as the Americans liked to say back in World War II.
