Topic: Globe Broadband Stick not working.

Fellow spies, I need help with my Globe Tattoo Huawei-E1552 dongle. I haven't used it for quite a while and now it can't detect any signal. I tried inserting different sim cards and it really can't get any signal at all. I tried upgrading the firmware and re-installing the globe dashboard but to no avail and i have noticed that the led light is blinking green when it was suppose to be blue. Any good advice on what to do? Aside from buying a new dongle of course. Thanks in advance!

check mo po kung anu yung network preferred nya, baka nakalagay eh "wcdm only" i-set mo po ng "wcdm prefered" or mas mababa. just try and check.

Thanks sa advice sir, I can connect now, but the thing is "2G Only" lang dapat ang network preference. Everytime I connect using the 3G preference, i get Error 628. I tried to google possible solutions, and i have done everything, pero ganun pa rin. I tried inserting my Globe sim card to a friends dongle and it works perfectly fine thats why im assuming na baka hardware malfunction ang problem na to. Any idea sir?

sir, with regards to signal, meron po akong 2g at 3g signal. Yung simcard na ginagamit ko, kung sa ibang dongle ko sya i-insert, nakakakuha ako ng 3g signal. kaya im thinking na baka hardware malfunction eto. im currently open for other options though

nasa settings yan, I used a pocket wifi dati when I went to manila, nung una I was only getting 2G signal. but later nung pinalitan ko ang settings, nag connect na sa 3G. forgot the exact settings though. it was probably something to do with network connection, parang I didn't allow it to connect automatically or vice versa

Dinala ko ang broadband stick ko kanina sa globe service center, pero wala ding nagawa ang mga technician nila doon, at ang malala pa eh out of warranty na daw ang equipment ko kaya di nila mapalitan ng bago. So far, gumagana naman sya pero yun nga lang 2G lang ang signal at kung i-3g preferred mo naman eh Error 628 naman. Kainis talaga ang customer service ng globe, parang walang idea ang tech nila kung ano ang problema. Anyways, salamat po ng marami sa mga nag share ng advice!

sorry sa late repy sir,

eto po yung gawin mo. kumuha ka po ng chord ng mouse(yung sirang mouse) kumuha ka po ng isang wire dun atlease 1 meter. then i attach mo dun sa antenna ng globe tattoo mo.

check mo po itong picture ko.



100% tested and proven ko po. sayang wala akong picture ng actual kong ginawa.

gamit kasi sa probinsya yung tattoo. (ingatan mo po pala yung mga turnilyo nya kasi maliliit lang po yan madaling mawala.

use it at your own risk po, (mawawala po kasi warranty nyang tattoo mo once you open)

Note: no need to use solder it sir. basta ikapit mo lang sya ng maayos dun sa copper wire na binilugan ko. ok na po yan.

about po sa settings mo sir bodiep, yung option na 3g only yung iseset mo dun para yun lang ang makuha mong signal but the problem is, kapag mahina ang signal sa location mo the result eh 0% signal or no connection at all.

Try ko po to mamaya sir, nasa trabaho pa ako e. No worries about the warranty kasi out-of-warranty naman daw ang equipment kaya nga di mapalitan eh. Salamat sir!

sir, ginawa ko po tong suggestion mo at sa ngayon ay naka full 3G signal na ako pero ayaw  pa rin mag-connect. "Error 628" lagi ang nakukuha ko tuwing co-connect ako gamit ang 3G signal, pero kung 2G signal ang gamit ko eh, wala namang problema.

sir, ginawa ko po tong suggestion mo at sa ngayon ay naka full 3G signal na ako pero ayaw  pa rin mag-connect. "Error 628" lagi ang nakukuha ko tuwing co-connect ako gamit ang 3G signal, pero kung 2G signal ang gamit ko eh, wala namang problema.

try mo po uninstall yung broadband firmware mo, tapos tsk mo ireinstall.

about sa signal strength, ok naman po ba after mo lagyan ng wire?
