Woah! Many guys do that, brag about their "conquests"?
It is an unfortunate truth that a lot of men still see women as notches on their bedpost rather than human beings.
Woah (again)! Now this one is even more ... uhm... creepy? sickening? scary? I mean, for us women. But I think it can also be the same for men.
Thank you for your insights, guys. You know naman na a lot of women believe that trust, love, emotion, passion, etc and a lot of other mushy stuff, are big deals before sleeping with anyone. Of course it's hurtful to find out na yung mga considered as intimate and passionate (read: giving all churvaness of the girl) moments with this guy is being videoed for ... what? bragging and branding...?
A few months ago, there was a news report of a kolehiyala from a Cebu university whose sex video with her BF leaked on the internet.
Kung magbi-video during intercourse, pinaka-mainam kung with consent.
After all, it's your lives, it's your futures that might get affected.
What's worse is the reaction of those who watch and share the videos whenever the latest sex scandal breaks out. Take
Hayden Kho's cinematic masterpieces. A lot of men actually regarded him as someone worthy of admiration and emulation for what he did. The same went for
"Mang Kanor" (
or whatever his real name might be). There are plenty of men who consider him their personal hero. Why do they consider Kho and "Kanor" as
"idols"? Because their exploits apparently proved that they're
"real men".
A comment I saw on
Facebook a couple of weeks ago regarding
Wally Bayola's scandal is equally telling with regards to the mentality of sex video
"fans". The person who posted the comment asked
Eat Bulaga to reinstate Wally since he deserves a second chance for being an entertaining comedian. He did not make the same request for
Yosh Rivera (
the young woman Bayola was with in the video) since (
and I quote)
"nakita na pekpek niya".
"Men will be men", the oft-used justification goes, but frankly I don't consider a male who can't respect women to be a man.
