help w/ my laptop

nireformat ung laptop ko (DELL) kasi nag ka virus then ndi ko na ako pwedeng mag play ng games like warcraft 3,ndi na rin ako pwedeng mag watch ng dvd movies..
anu po kaya dapat kong gawin.

if your laptop came with the installation cd, make sure that you installed all the drivers and programs. If your Dell is one of those that have the partitioned HD that has the back-up, try reformatting the laptop again.

Or if you are time constrained, you can check your device manager and see if any of your peripherals need a driver. If so, install the appropriate driver.  toast::

tsong kung games at videos ayaw gumana install mo ung latest na mga "drivers" software for your graphic card and also install DirectX 9.0c for games like warcraft to run..  toast::

1. Re-install the video driver, I assume you're currently using the default video card driver provided by Microsoft. Warcraft 3 needs (i think) OpenGL and DirectX (sorry I'm not that updated with High Res games).
2. Re-install DVD player. I think InterVideo (WinDVD) or CineMaster is the OEM DVD player package for DELL. (not so sure). Windows Media Player can not play DVD without the proper codecs.

Check your laptop model/tag and download appropriate drivers here http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs

why not use system restore if its an available function for ur laptop

Dapat may recovery CD or DVD yan na kasama pag purchase.
Boot mo lang from DVD/CD drive tapos automatic na yun mag restore to factory default.

most dell laptops have a hidden partition space in HDD which contains its drivers and all the other tools u need if you want to reinstall everything back to its default
