mga tol bka me alam kyong tools to remove/fix bad sectors without formatting the drive.... sawang sawa n ko s kaka format eh bka me alam nman po kyo jan n tools pero hindi mwawala ung mga files.... thanx....

tol try mo to:

open u command prompt then type chkdsk, tapos enter tapos follow instruction n lng dun..


tapos pwede u rin puntahan ungproperties ng drive then andun naman tapos tools,,, tapos check no... tgnan u n lng dun tol..

sir.......di naman natatanggal ang badsector sa harddisk......pwede mo lang syang imove........ at ang pagkaalam ko me software na pangtanggal ng badsector pero di mo marerestore ung disk capacity nya......like kung ang kinain na disk space ng badsector mo sa  40gb ay 12gb na bad sector.....ang lalabas na lang na capacity ng harddisk mo ay nasa 28gb na lang....

pero sana nasa gitna at sa likuran ung badsector.....dahil kung nasa harap malamang itatapon mo na lang yang harddisk mo

you can actually reset the settings in the hard drive such that it will no longer say it has any bad sectors. kaso nga lang, in reality, the bad sectors are still there so pag nalagyan ng files yun, ganun ulit ang problema mo

bad sectors are part of aging of hard drives. ganun talaga yan. sabi nga ni sexsnician, hope the badsectors are anywhere but the first sectors

to fix a bad sector look it in the my computer repair or search for disk problem it will fix it

Pag ganitong problema bro eh kailangan mo na talagang mag palit ng bagong hard disk.... Pero bago ka bumili try this methods if this works and save some money....

scandisk in win9X
chkdsk in winnt

choose surface scan and automatic repair.... Kapag di gumana eh kailangan mo na ngang magpalit ng Hard Disk..... ;D

low level format may work but as i said, it will not fix the bad sectors, it will only make it appear that there are no bad sectors

Yeah!  You may opt to buy a new Hard Drive para talgang wala na ang masamang sektor na yan!!!

tanong ko lang po, kung anong brand ng harddisk mo, kase nung nagkaroon ng

bad sector harddsk ko (btw, Seagate sakin) me cd provided dati yung seagate

parang disk utility ng seagate, tapos meron dun zero fill drive, pag zero fill mo

matatanggal lahat pati bad sector, as in formatted lahat ng harddrive, tapos nun

mag fdisk ka pa kase nde makikita yung drive mo, wala syang file system (ex. NTFS, FAT32)

all you need to do is run fdisk and then format, btw mawawala lahat ng files mo pag

gnamit mo to.  mejo risky to, kase pag malala na talga yung bad sector ng HD naccra

na sya talga. as in natutuluyan na.
