cd burning problem....

wel, the prob is ala ako maburn sa cd....

iv used diff kinds of cds kaso yaw paren magburn....

pag nagburn ako, same lng ung nangyayare as before, n after 10-25 mins, tapus naraw ang pagburn...but wen i open the contents of the cd sa explorer, alang laman...kahit sa ibng pc...

liteon gamet ko, n coz medyo sentimental ako sa mga gamet ko, halos 5yrs old nato sken....

hope sum1 knows a solution for this....

mjo matagal na nga caloy... i dont know that the reason y hnd nag burn hehehe but why not try Nero. it works well:) ask mos i bodieph computer wizard iyun hehehe

haha...onga eh, but sentimental kc ako sa mga gamet ko, kya hanggang maaari, hbang ayus pa, last resort na ang palitan...hehehe

n tried nero nare, but the same thing happens....

tol ntry mo na b mag burn direct like sa WINPlayer or sa drive e: mismo? or check the hardware bka kelagn ng plitan...or try mo gmitin sa independent player like components..minsan kc ganon ngyayari..try mong iplay dun ung burn mo...

Try going sa website nang cd burner /drive mo, and see if there are any updates (either for firmware/driver) kung meron sundan mo na lang yung instructions niya kung paano i-install and un-install yung dating driver niya....

hmmmm....maybe sa hardware na nga, but it was workin fine ren bout last wik...n tried naren burnin using explorer n ganun din nangyare...

n il try wat u suggested bro mico...

try cleaning the lens of the drive. in 5yrs time, im sure medyo hazy na ang lens nyan kaya hindi na nya mabasa maayos ang cd kaya after ilang minutes lang sasabihin nya tapos na kasi failed na yun. hindi na nya mabasa yung cd

Tama si boss bodie, try mo lang linisin. Most of the time, dumi lang sa lens ang problema.  Pero if ako sa yo, retire ko na lang yung drive.  Mas valuable sa akin yung data kaysa sa drive. hehehe.  ;D

also, check your PSU. if you are using nero, it should say something like power fail something. cant remember the exact term

it could also be PSU pero from what you said, im guessing its really the lens. as for PSU, ilang watts PSU mo? ano mga naka attach sa pc? ilang hard drives? cd-rom? floppy? fans? and any other devices that uses power cables

i tried cleaning the lens, but nuthin changed, ganun paren....

iv tried burnin dn sa explorer mismo, n ganun dn ang nangyayare...

nitry ko ren basahin ung cd using other pc's n blank paren daw sha....

sa psu, 400watts ung gamet ko(or is it volts)...1cdr, 1 dvd-rom, 3 fan, 2 hard dryv, ska ung usb's naren plus this weird auxillary light sa casing....

iv tried it agen using nero, then nagerror sha sa huli, sbe nya 'iso device not working'...

ska nakakabasa naman sha ng ibang cd's, talagang ayaw lng nyang magburn....

have you tried burning while most of the programs are shutdown? baka sobrang dami ng running processes mo.

your PSU is ok, from what you indicated kayang kaya ng PSU mo magburn ng CD (cd lang diba? not DVD?). pero baka may prob yung PSU. ganun din nangyari sa akin before, everything seems ok pero nagfail minsan pag magwrite. it was under warranty so i brought it to the store and they replaced the PSU para daw sure. since then ok na, wala na prob. so it may be the PSU. try using a different PSU and observe

hmmm...gamet ko is amd sempron 2200, mga 1.5ghz, 512mb na ram

medyp luma naren ung psu ko, mga 5 or 6 yrs naren...hehehe kakatamad kc magpalit ng parts, i only use my comp for browsing...

pagnagburn naman ako, alang ibng progs na nagrun, ung nero lng, pati firewall nishutdown ko.....

il try to buy naren siguro ng bagong psu, n pwede na b ung 400? i think meron ata mga 500 or sumtin....

for your PC, pwede na 400watts since cd writer lang gamit mo

and siguro nga kailangan mo na palitan yung psu mo, matagal tagal na rin pala yan

yah, but im sure il miss it...

by the wway, does the wattage of the psu affect the performance of the comp?

if i remembr it ryt, i think it was my friend hu told me that the higher the wattage of the psu, the better the perforamance of the pc...

plus i want to buy naren a dvdwriter, thats y im kinda intrested ren dun sa benq(yata) that ur sellin, ala rin ako makita dito ng ganun eh, kahit older models....

do i hav to get a mas mataas na wattage na psu if i switch to a dvdr?? n kayanin kya ng spec ng pc ko? sempron 1.5ghz 512mb ram....

i hav a p4 2.+ 1 gig ram, but di ko kc ginagamet, katamad magayus eh, n istall ng progs...

yes, kailangan higher ang PSU mo since DVD writing will eat up a lot of power. baka magfail yan pag mababa ang wattage ng PSU mo (results in unusable disks)

processor speed should have no problems with dvd writing, just try to close other programs when burning DVD para mas madali matapos.

taga san ka ba? sa manila, marami yung benq 1640 dun. kahit dito sa davao may nagbebenta nun (2550 6 months warranty--kakilala ko nagbebenta)

btw, iv cheked my psu, and its 350watts pla, ung isang pc ko ung 400...so i do guess sa psu ako may prublema?

and pagnagburn sa dvd, lahat ren ng pwede mong iburn sa cdr pwede rin ba? like docu's n stuf?

yes, whatever you can burn on cd you can also burn on DVD plus more

you can check rising sun computers, meron sila nung benq dw1640

tol before u magburn disable mo muna antivirus u. kasi pag enable antivirus habang binuburn mo ung data, audio , etc sa cd... iniiscan pa un ng antivirus habang binuburn... try mo lang tol baka magwork

Bro.. Try mo na gamitan ng Cd-Lens Cleaner ang dumi na cguro nyan...else direct mo syang burn sa drive ng cd-writer mo okey...bka kc gumagana ng maayos ung Nero mo.. Mostly kc ganyan ung problems...okey
