<floppy drive problem>

help ayaw gumana ng drive A ko..according sa device manager working properly naman..kso  xa mgread ng disket..d rin nag on un green light ng drive..is this a hardware problem? just making f nid na palitan ng bago driver ???

Check mo muna yong Floppy Drive cable at power cord ng floppy mo kung properly inserted ba... Baka maluwag na yan specially yong sa power cord...

Check mo rin sa BIOS kung floppy enabled ba yan... Baka na disable lang sa BIOS.

Tapos check mo rin upon booting up kung mag la-light ba yong LED ng floppy mo. If yes then your floppy is funcitonal na.

Kung functional na ang floppy mo at hindi pa rin ma read yong diskette mo try to clean your floppy drive. Use a cotton with alcohol to clean the floppy drive heads. Kung meron kang diskette na pang clean sa Floppy drive mas okay yon...

amf i know wats causing d problem na..d nka insert properly un cable and worse me punit un ribon cable..nun insert ko e yaw na magoff nun green light tpos ngvivibrate sound xa kya tinanggal ko n let un cable..il juz purchase a new cable ribon..tnx guyz 8)

yung floppy ko nman eh nag sa-save pero kailangan dalawang beses mo i save yung file! sa unang save lalabas ung name nung file mo pero unknown format sya, me kasama tong i.did file, tapos save mo ulit yun tsaka lng gagana yung file... kailangan yung i.did file para gumana yung save mo!
anu po ba yung i.did file na yun?

pag unang save mo may kasamang ibang file? have you tried formatting the floppy disk then save mo ulit? ganun pa rin ba?

im guessing may virus either yung floppy mo or yung computer mo mismo

dsl ba connection mo? if yes, i suggest you do an online virus scan (recommend ko panda para kasama na spyware)

Ganun nga sir me ksama pang parang excel yta na file yun...
bago siya magkaganito nagloko muna to..lahat ng floppy na insert mo hindi raw formatted kahit formatted nman.. nagpalit nko ng floppy drive kase meron ako extra pero ganun parin! :o

anyways TRY KO YUNG SABI NYO! tapos sbihin ko d2 anu nangyari...  :D

sir ganyan din prob ko s flopy drive ko gaya sabi nga ng friend ko bk may virus daw n idid. sir san ko b pwedeng mdownload yung panda n sinssabi mo bk meron k link papost nman pra msolve n problema ko. salamat.....

online scanner lang yun panda para free. if you wish to have panda as your anti virus, may bayad yung program. hindi yun freeware

Sir bod.. wla po bang ibang alternative na solution, online scanner pla yung panda mukhang madugo yun sa dial up! bka me alam po kaung ibang software!  ;D

kya bang tangalin ng avg ang idid virus?

idid virus din po b yung kung ano ang una mong ginamit n disket eh yung files parin nya ang lalabas khit magpalit kn ng ibang disket?

not necessarily, ang dami klaseng virus so its difficult to pinpoint if its the same thing

pero most viruses that affects floppy drives are old (since d na gaano ginagamit ang floppy ngayon iba na target ng mga new kind of viruses) so most likely, it should be removed easily

van gogh, if youre system is already infected, online scanner lang ang option mo to remove the virus before you go to more drastic measures like manual removal and/or reinstall

pag reformat ka, sure na tanggal yun pero make sure lang na yung mga files na ibackup mo is clean. kasi useless yung reformat mo kung yung mga files na plano mong ibalik is infected pa rin

bro...nangyari na sa akin yan...everytime na nagsasawve ako ng file sa diskettes......me nadadagdag na file na i.did ..........scan ko.......di sya madetect......... parang nakakapit na sa system ng os.........ang ginawa ko.......nireformat ko na lang ung harddisk ko......and then yun na nawala na ung virus....

ahh o nga pala, you have to use IE for panda online scan ( i also use firefox pero i have to switch to IE temporarily when i run a scan from panda)

kung ayaw mo, you can go to another website that offers free online scan. marami naman dyan

if you saw the floppy drive working properly.
and yet indi nag aappear.

check mo na lng sa settings restart then press delete
baka naka disable lng ang floppy drive.
