Topic: Need comments or suggestions (Going to buy a new gaming rig)

Hey guys! I'm planning to setup a new budget gaming PC. Basically gusto ko makapag set up ng PC na kaya ang high settings ng Mechwarrior Online pero di gano masakit sa bulsa. Here are the specs that I plan to purchase in 2 batches.

1st phase:

CPU: AMD FX6100 3.3Ghz 6MB 4650php

MB: MSI 760GM-P34 FX /DDR3/A/V/L 2650php or MSI 880GMS-E41 (FX) 880G/M-ATX/SATA 3 2850

HDD: Seagate 500GB 3.5 SATA 2430php

RAM: Kingston Hyper-X 4GB DDR3 1600 1950php

PSU: Huntkey 600W PSU 2500php or Aerocool StrikeX 500W Modular 80+ Bronze 2500




2nd phase:

CASE: Aerocool StrikeX-One 1900php or Aerocool XPredator X1 Red Devil 2950php

GPU: MSI R7790-1GD5/OC 1GB/DDR5/128BIT/OC 7500php or MSI R7 260X OC 2GB DDR5 128BIT 6900php

Around 23580php


I'm wondering kung meron pa mabibilihan ng AMD 7850 or equivalent. I'm not sure with the price pero kung malapit sa  price ng 7790 okay rin tapos I'll go with the Huntkey 600w. Tapos isa sa mga main worries ko is kung makakasabay ba yung mobos and CPU? Any possible bottleneck issues?

why not just get the Kaveri 7850k instead of buying a really really old CPU model and a power hungry Video card

CPU? you can go with the APU of AMD di mo naman kelangan ng 6 or 8 cores when it comes to gaming unless you wanted to do OC
plus APU saves you more money

Mobo? MSI are good ones too , if you have a little cash to burn i'll choose ASUS or ASROCK for generic , and if you want an upgrade on your RAMS make sure kung hanggang saan  yung RAM nung mobo mo kung kaya ba neto sa mag OC sa 2300

HDD yeah 500GB are good but it depends if you wanted you can go for 1TB or in the future add an SSD if you want your PC to boot faster

SSD are commonly use for OS and other needed programs , plus it's it expensive as hell

RAM? I'll go for G.Skill ,1600 is good for gaming

PSU? like we said here , wag mag tipid sa PSU , its the back bone of your computer if it fails then your parts will fail , go with the trusted brand with Bronze , Silver or Gold on them

Case? Personally I don't give a crap if it's a glow in the dark or it has a big side window as long as i have Wind Circulation , Clean cable Management and more space for my HDDs to add on and some GPU are longer , my Current Case is a Corsair 200r i can do many things on it on the future such as radiator on the top or dual fans

GPU? i think the one you are looking for is now called R8 Series in AMD , not sure if it is , since im running on Intel Nvidia is the best choice for it

the new GPU's and APU's are less power so you might add the power wattage you need before you burn some money on a 600W PSU

Salamat sa mga input sirs, isa nga sa iniisip ko is go with APUs. Kaso ang kaba ko sa AMD Kaveri A10 7850K (8600php) is baka mahirapan siya sa Mechwarrior Online which is using Crytech engine. Tapos i-pair ko nalang sa MSi A88XM GAMING motherboard (6400php). Tapos mag laan ako ng extra 1k for an Aerocool StrikeX 600W Modular 80+ Bronze around 3500php.

i am playing MWO since closed beta (gold founder). my current cpu is A10-6800k, walang problema sa game. its more of an internet problem (since nasa pinas ang ping is mga nasa 300+ ms and sometimes this becomes a factor since mas mabagal ang reaction mo compared sa iba). that a10 7850 is basically the same as the 6800k, wala lang onboard video so that shouldn't be a problem

also, kahit pa maganda ang video card mo, sa MWO you wont be getting very good FPS since the maps are not well optimized. I am running a single card (r9 280x) and even at only 720p resolution, my average FPS is only around 30-50 depending on the map. although may mga times na umaabot sa mga 70-80, average talaga mga nasa around 30-50 lang

konte lang mga pinoy naglalaro ng MWO, although ngayon lang may nakalaban akong rexonamen ang name. so malamang pinoy yun

Salamat sa input sir bodieph! Matagal ko na talaga gusto laruin yan kaso lagi nadedelay ang upgrades ko. So I guess.. Ang gagawin ko nalang is buy the APU and the mobo kahit walang discrete GPU tyagain ang MWO on low-med settings under 720p until makabili ako ng discrete GPU na may performance near Radeon 5850.

hindi naman siya mabigat eh. kahit nga sa laptop ok naman basta may discrete video card ang laptop. I play MWO on both my laptop and home pc. although yung laptop ko is a gaming laptop with up to 120hz, my previous laptop only had up to 60hz (i.e. up to 60 FPS only), ok din naman, playable parin

the game is just really badly optimized, a couple of months ago they released support for DX11 but it was so bad that most players had to switch back to DX9, kahit yung mga kasama ko na very high end ang mga PC balik sa DX9 kasi sobrang baba ng FPS nila with DX11. ewan lang kung up to now since until now I have stuck to DX9
