Meron na silang fair usage policy which means kapag na reach mo ung maximum usage mo babagal na ang net mo! unlimited padin pero in a lower slower slower slower speed so fck. and sa mga heavy user jan sobrang nakakainis to... now napakabagal ng internet ko... if 15gb lang ang pwedeng download per month baka wala pa ngang 15 days of surfing/online gaming ubos na yang 15gb na yan eh! Sa america ganito ang policy ng mga Internet provider but they give a 150-200GB per user a month... sobra sobra un for 1month use kaya ok lang... nakakabullshit to...

kaya nga eh. eh ang dami ko ng na download na movies. sobrang bagal na ng connection ko, mag 4 days na ata. tapos un anti virus ko di mag update dahil error sa connection sa sobrang bagal.

when you reach the allotted GB/Month limit of your wireless broadband provider you will be slowed down or in technical terms "Throttled" meaning if your plan says Up to 2mbps and 15gb/month so you are lowed down to up to 1mbps then if you reach the limit for that(which is normally under 1gb na lang) then you are throttled to 512mbps then 256mbps until unusable na

may LIMIT kasi para hindi CONGESTED and data access sa mga Cell Towers kasi not only Cellular Data passes through but also Cellular Voice and Text need to use the airwaves, baka maapektuhan ang Call and Text service if everyone is online all the time

Gamit ko Smart Pocket wifi up to 7mbps daw naka postpaid plan 999 ako unlimited surf and download e wala pa 2week sakin yung unit and ilang days na mabagal connection ko 100kbps lang nakukuha ko e isang laptop lang connected. Hays badtrip talaga yung smart kakainis hindi worth it yung binayaran ko.

FYI: Please remember DOWNLOADs include the Temporary Internet Files such as Pics, Vids or Audio files that pop up when you access Websites or Blogs, hindi lang yung file na literally dinadownload nyo so kahit hindi kayo magDownload ng pics, movies/videos, music/audio files the mere act of browsing you are downloading

oh IT IS, your still getting 100kbps right? so it does mean you have UNLIMITED Internet and your service hasnt stopped

what they dont actually say up front is due to the Fair Usage Policy you are only allowed a specific amount of DATA Downloads to use the OPTIMAL Speed of up to 7mbps, eh baka sa dami ng ginawa or Download mo eh naubos mo na yung Allowed Data Limit on Optimal Speed so they have to, as i have discussed above, THROTTLED you down

YOUR STILL UNLIMITED just really really slower, sa US(and other countries) kasi ineexplain yan when you get Wireless Broadband Service

yep its called Fair Usage, and its been there for YEARS(its not new), di lang kasi ikaw ang gumagamit ng Broadband so bigyan mo rin pagkakataoon gumamit ng internet ang ibang tao, kung wala Fair Usage policy lahat Online kaya lahat mabagal... wala ding saysay diba?

According sa friend kong ECE. Mandate daw yan ng NTC (yun ata un) and heavy na bandwidth cap sa mga wireless.. Dunno why di naman nya inexplain..

also take note sa mga wireless broadband yang 7.2mbps is max speed AND shared speed. so kung marami kayo gumagamit sa area niyo eh di hati hati na yung 7.2mbps. eh MAX na yun sa buong area niyo so thats why minsan ang speed mo sobrang bagal na, thats because sobrang dami na gumagamit and pinagkakasya niyo ang 7.2mbps (which is less than 1MB/s) among all users

sa globe naman yung limit na 800mb/day only applies to prepaid. im pretty sure its not applicable to postpaid (or kung meron man its a lot bigger - parang 5GB/day ata)

imagine a highway and the cars are DATA, can you imagine the more Cars/Data there is the more congested the highway becomes and the traffic would start to slow down to a crawl

as i said aside from Cellular Data dumadaan din sa Cell Towers and Cellular Calls and Cellular Texts which are the priority use of the cell towers, limiting data traffic also prevents problems with calls and texts

Sir my friend ask... he is using Smartbro, connection are still good lately until pinatupad nga tong policy na to... medyo sumama daw ang connection now... so nag babalak sya mag palit ng internet provider kc nag lilimit sya ng bandwidth dahil sa dami ng nagamit sa shop nauubos ang max usage nia, so sobrang bagal ng net nagrereklamo na mga customer...
Sir 6 computers lang nmn ang shop nia... so pwede ba siya mag PLDT plan999? may limit po ba ng computer units ang pwede kabitan ng PLDT? or pwede itago muna ung 5units para kunyari hindi shop ung kakabitan? sir Any suggestion kc i dont have idea about sa PLDT policy... tnx po

1) you know very well HACKING is not allowed in Espiya
2) WALA way within your PC or Network, nasa ISP mo ang monitoring and throttling capabilities
3) the only one who can speed up your net or modify your monthly limit is your ISP

Bandwidth Disabling na link mo is a for Windows Updating and other tasks your PC does that connects it to MS Servers
