IM NOT THE BEST SON(i dnt think im even an average son)i screwed up 4 times in my college days(pretending to go to school and wasting my allowance) when i had severe depression and when i was in a fast food chain(for a while) i screwed that up too(going AWOL), i only graduated nursing last year, what kind of an ASSHOLE AM I if i ddnt tell my dad how much i loved him and hugged him, nasa california na sya with my mom and sis and when they call me long distance and we end the call i always say i love u to my dad, and soon il be there to give him a hug

when everyone including myself gave up on me, he never did

  Too bad some of you do not have a good relationship with your Dads. I too had some problems with my Dad when I was young .
I was too much of a rebel ... always finding ways to piss him off ! but when I got mariied and had my own kids, I realized that my Dad was really a cool guy .He did his best to give us all the comforts of life and made sure we never wanted for anything . I was just to selfish and immature to realize it. My dad has since past away in 2002 at the age of 92 ! but I still miss him so much ,
same with my mom . I wish I had more time to learn from them and tell them how much they meant to me .
  As for my son , I constantly tell him how much I love him and is proud of him and his sister. They are the joy of my life . Yes, I kiss and hug my son and daughter all the time even now that they're grown up .. I wish I did that more with my parents .
  To those of you who are having issues with your parents .. time to settle those problems ... You owe your life to your parents ... Peace and love !
