Coincidentally enough, I've been re-reading William Gibson's Neuromancer, Count Zero, and Mona Lisa Overdrive as of late. Gibson is regarded by many people as the "father" of cyberspace (or at least the originator of the concept of cyberspace or--as he called it long before the movies--"the matrix") before it actually came to be. Looking at these pillars of the Web, I wonder how many of them were influenced in some way by Gibson?
