140k? howly cow...

fastfood chains.. hmn.. i can handle that..

estimate mo sir, mga ilan aabutin nila jan, minimum salary for fastfood chain workers?

bro, ang ordinary na ofw rito na pumapasok sa fast food ay 10$ per hour. so you have 80$ a day for 8 hrs job times mo sa two weeks, you almost got 800$. ibabawas mo pa dyan yung taxes mo and etc, so not bad. halos meron ka na ring 25,000 pesos every two weeks. of course dyan mo rin kukunin yung rent mo for shelter, food, clothing etc.... thats why yung ibang ofw ay todo tipid and naghahanap sideline.

50k a month - (taxes, shelter, food) = aabutin parin sya ng 30K?
hmn.. i can do it.. hehehe..
ayus na din at least may chance to get your family..

Thank you sir..

Ano yung mga Do's and Dont's mo sir, based on experience?

marami pang benefits kapag nag stay ka na for good rito. in the meantime, yung pagiging OFW muna ang ginagawa ng iba bilang entry, and then saka na nila lalakarin kung paano maging resident dito.  toast::

Since you don't have any relatives to petition for you here in Canada the only way to go is to apply for a work visa. Healthcare is one of the biggest industry here so I suggest look in to that. Invest on enrolling yourself in a program because that will provide you the most chances of landing a job here. For some reason the gov't here calls immigrants "landed canadians" regardless of your race/nationality/citizenship (that's how accomdating Canada is). If you somehow managed to migrate here working visa depends on the season or if there is an election the minimum requirement the government will require/impose on you before you can apply for PR (permanent residence card) will either be a less or more than a year (depending  of course of what kind of job you have also).  You will be need to apply for a SIN (Social Insurance) when you start working here.

Canada provides one if not the best healthcare in the world. A country with one of the most stable/strongest
economy. Most diverse culture (most tolerable to minorities/religions/sexual orientation/culture). As long as you work here, as long as your generate more income compared to your cost of living (you pay for hydro=electric and gas=heat) you'll manage to stay afloat. Food is cheap. Rent depends on the area can be cheap. Transportation is easy (though they protest for a raise here in my city every year). Other than that as long as you work regular hours (typical canadian works for 40hours/wk) and the minimum wage is $10.25. You get 2x the amout on statutory holidays (depending on what kind of job you have). Overall it's one of the best country to live in.
