During Marcos Era Philippines is capable of developing its own missile, called project Bong-Bong1 and Bong-Bong 2. The launchers tested were fixed-Open frame (short), Fixed-open frame (long) truck mounted tube launcher, truck mounted open frame and the submerge launcher for underwater firing. The result of the test showed that the truck mounted open-frame launcher is the most appropriate for the 180MM rocket, and the configuration is narrowed down to the short and long version both with fixed fins.
