Condolences to Sir Diskumpiyado

Even if Manny Pacquiao won last May 2, there is one Espiya who is not celebrating because at that time, he is grieving the death of his brother. This is the reason why I delayed the posting of this message, I was afraid it will be lost in the Pacquiao hysteria.

Sometime late last week, I received an offline message on Yahoo from Diskumpiyado, an Espiya Staff, telling me that his brother died after being shot in the head. (Disk lives in RP, location can't be disclosed).

Diskumpiyado (real name "R....") is one of only two Espiya members I've met personally and one of our old time members (joined 2005). He's not that active because of his personal circumstances.

He's a hardworking young man, a son who's taking care of a sick father. Weeks before the sad news, he found me on YM and we talked about his sick father and his busy days taking care of a computer business.

I want to offer a moment of silence and also ask the community to say a prayer and also wish that justice be done for the crime. I have no details of the shooting incident, but the end result is the loss of his brother at the time when they are facing difficulties with their ailing father.

To Diskumpiyado, I extend my sincere condolences and I want to assure you that even if your brother died in the physical world, there is hope of seeing him again in a Paradise Earth that the Lord promised.

Please continue working hard, I know its painful but life should move on, and if there is anything we can do to help, please don't hesitate to let us know.
