« on: October 17, 2013, 11:59:15 am »
Hi guys , finally my budget na ako. Here's what I want. Design and gaming.

1.) Monitor - magkano naba maganda monitor ngayun ? pinaka importante biggest resolution possible. Pag gumawa ako ng responsive websites. 2048x1536 . I heard AOC was good ?

2.) Processor - Intel ung i7 ngayun.

3.) Motherboard - no idea

4.) Memory ram - either 8gb and can be expandable to 16gb

5.) Hard disk - combo of ssd and hd ?

6.) Casing - no idea. Basta maganda and functional. Madali e linis and d cluttered inside.

7.) Mouse, keyboard and other accesories - basic lang muna and splurge later sa parts.

8.) Videocard - >> future purchase pa ito , but if maka pera siguro bibili like around 30k?

How much kaya ito manga bossing ? and please indicate ung brand din

1. i have no idea if AOC was good , i haven't use one yet but ACER monitor is good as well

2. you can also use i5 Haswell , you dont need to jump to i7 pero if you really wanted it then i can say go a head there's not much different even if you go haswell , you just loose 2mb cache if you go i5 but same 3.2GHZ - 3.4ghz out of the box on both Processor
Price is the only thing that is not it's much expensive if you go i7 like $300+ but if you go i5 it's half the price and same thing for i7 Processor na hindi Haswell

or you can go AMD's Vishera with 4.0ghz out of the box you can OC it to go 4.2ghz

3. MoBo - Gigabyte or ASUS

4. Memory go with G.Skill RipJaws 1886MHz

5. HDD - for Storage go with a 2TB and 250GB SSD for your OS and Other important Program such as Windows Office , Photoshop , some games etc.

6. Corsair 200R , or go with the CM HAF 922 or Fractal Design with sound dampening

7. you can go with the best combo pack out there

8. i suggest you to wait for a little more time Nvidia is dropping prices on their GPUs and so as AMD new line of GPUs

9. PSU - go for the 700W

10. budget price around 40K pesos

11. if you wanted help go to PCnet miles  ::lmao ( nag endorse ng store )

2.) Kasi ung plan ko is to buy the videocard on a later date. But i5 would be fine. Ung AMD Vishera maganda ba for photoshop / league of legends / battlefield 4?

10.) So all in all 40 k ito without videocard ?

2. ok naman yung Vishera hindi nalalayo sa i5 , pero i still suggest intel

10. hindi naman 40K without a card, it's the average price for kick as* computers and other components for your CPU

kulang yung 40k mo, sa monitor pa lang lampas kalahati na sa 40k (or baka mas mahal pa sa 40k yung monitor) if you want a resolution of 2048x1536. locally I dont think may makikita kang monitor na may ganung resolution (you will need at least around 27 inches for that resolution - mga korean brands). you can get a 30 inch monitor and get a resolution of 2560x1600

your next bet would be multiple monitors

as for processor ano ba gagawin mo sa computer? 3d rendering? video editing? if yes, then go for intel. if tipong gaming, internet surfing, etc, then go for AMD

mobo will depend on what CPU you get, for intel, get z87 chipset. for amd, a85 if FM2 chipset (if you get A10) or 990 for AM3 chipset (if you get FX). kaso lang very rare ang mga 990 mobos dito sa pinas

for ram, 8GB is more or less the appropriate number these days, unless you do 3d rendering, video editing, etc then you can benefit from getting 16GB or higher. as for frequency, 1886 and 1600 dont have that big of a difference in performance

for HDD, SSDs do offer a performance boost but mahal yung mga higher capacity. one alternative is the new hybrid drives. a 1TB seagate momentus XT hybrid is priced around 7K, whereas a 120GB SSD is around 5K and a 1TB SATA HDD is around 4K

for GPU, again depende sa needs mo. if you more into details then go for nvidia because they have hardware physx. if you aren't that concerned about the little things then you can go AMD. also if you go 3 monitors and you will only be using one card, AMD is better in handling 3 monitors. if you go two cards however, its not an issue

I'm not sure kung meron pang 2048x1536 monitors; if ever meron, it's not easy to find.. Mas madaling hanapin ang 2560x1440, Around 20-25k ang price nun sa Gilmore.. And about AOC, I'm using one since 2010.. It's still working perfectly.. ;)

bodie , my bad. D pala 2048 but ung 2560 , baket mahal b mga 2560 na monitors ? how much ba 30 inch monitor 2560 res nowadays? what brand

no video editing , maybe some interior or 3d just to "try " , but mainly used for photoshop , fireworks, illustrator , coding | and of course gaming =)

16gb < better ba ito in editing photos ? or for example using a liquify filter on photoshop?

sa videocard > if concern ko is photoshop / and best games available. Let's say ung 3d just for testing lang and in no way I will do video animation. So AMD is the best ?

what i mean 40k is just the cpu alone and all the stuff you need inside my bad i didnt clear it

kung best graphics card naman may labas radeon yung mga R series nila

pero kung gusto mo talaga ng tested go for Nvidia

NOPE , CPU lang yun

you can wall mount that monitor , if you see the four hole with screw thread in the back you can buy a wall mount plate and mount your monitor

mahal ang mga monitor na higher resolution since these are very high end. take this as an example, yung monitor ko is 27 inches 1920x1080 resolution, 2ms response time, 120hz (this is why its fixed at 1920x1080 kahit 27 inches na siya). ang bili ko lampas 1 year ago 25K, now the SRP is 28K. so more or less a 30 inch monitor with 2560x1600 60hz will be around the same price range. I wanted to sell it (2 weeks ago) and get a 24 inches 120hz but nung malaman ko na nagmahal pala ang SRP now, hindi ko na muna binenta

27 inches will have around 2560x1440, should be cheaper than the 30 inch. sa newegg, the 30inch HP zr30w is over 1K USD, the 27 inches samsung s27a850 is around 700 USD, dell u2713HM is 600 USD (but higher response time). so kahit yung dell kunin mo at 600 USD, thats around 25K PHP. monitor pa lang yan

as for graphics card, for your needs pwede na AMD. but then again hindi naman ganun kalaki difference sa price between AMD and nvidia cards

I can settle with the 27 inches na 2560 x 1440. Ung goal ko much bigger sa samsung ex2020 ko >

http://www.samsung.com/ph/consumer/monitor-peripherals-printer/monitor/consumer-monitor/LS20CLUSFV/XP-spec

What brand can you recommend either 24 or 27 inches ? As long as 2560 , ung height nya doesnt matter since importante lang width sakin. Tapos if wala pa ako external videocard ( d ma ba affect speed nito ) ? or manga apps load sluggish if max resolution gamitin?
