WASHINGTON, DC—Amid increasing concern over renewed tensions in the South China Sea, the Philippine Embassy here is shopping for excess defense equipment from the United States
...
On May 13, Cuisia marked his debut as the new ambassador to Washington by signing the certificate of transfer of the decommissioned US Coast Guard Hamilton class cutter to the Philippines. (The cutters are called “Hamilton class” after their lead ship, the Hamilton, named after Alexander Hamilton, the first US Secretary of the Treasury.)

While in the US Coast Guard service, the vessel saw action in maritime safety and security missions, including drug and migrant interdiction, and search and rescue.

The patrol vessel, whose two 1,800 horsepower gas turbines can propel it to speeds of up to 28 knots, will be renamed the BRP Gregorio del Pilar. It is the biggest ship ever to be acquired by the Philippine Navy, and will be sailed to Manila next month.

We have to buy the weaponry from other sources at ikabit dyan.  I remember yun kwento ni Mr. Teddyboy sa isang pagpupulong na ayaw tayo bigyan ng missiles ng US dahil it will change the balance of power daw in Southeast Asia.

Another option natin is to buy the attack patrol crafts ng Australia. They will decommission yun mga dati nilang attack patrol crafts so pwede natin bilhin yun ng mas mura dahil di na nila gagamitin.
Note na talagang kailangan ng Tsayna ng iron ore to sustain their growth at marami ang iron ore ng Australia. The Second World War started also in the search for iron ore ng Germany.

It is important at this point that our military top brass should coordinate with the different ambassadors to coordinate purchases of weaponry from other countries instead of just trying to buy from Estados Unidos.  The US will never give us advanced weaponry.

We can also buy the Gepard class na attack patrol crafts ng Germany which they will also decommission.  Yun long term eh gawa tayo ng sarili nating cruiser at frigate by tying up a joint venture with either Germany or Ukraine as what India did when it tied up with UK in the design of their patrol boats.

I admire your ideas kapanalig...i hope people in the armed forces would think the same way you did...

Senyor, intelligence report yan ng Australia two years ago pa.  I was in Malaysia when I read that report.  The report says that Chayna has been building bases in all the countries in its periphery.

Now, with regards to the acquisition of hardware, hindi porke may pera ka eh bebentahan ka ng US.  You can check that fact with the US State Department if you still want confirmation.

ano yan show proof that there is God

There are data that have restriction level cannot be shown to public

in a business world anything is considered a hearsy but even it is a heresy you need to considered it as a fact until you proven yourself that it is a hearsay

GKhan  gave us a data it is up to us to considered it a hearsay or fact

Intelligence report yan ipapahamak mo pa ka-member natin kapag nag-leak

our world is different from his world nang-galing na ang uncle ko sa mundo ni GKhan  ayaw ng bumalik sabi ng uncle may mga bagay-bagay na di maintindihan ng ordinaryong pinoy na nangyayari sa bansa natin

sabi nya there were only 2 groups that controls our country the 2 groups consist  only 7 people sila ang humahawak sa political at economical ng bansa  sino ang mag-iisip na 7 lang sila

Haha sa law kasi natin merong standard names for those na dapat ang name is mangagaling sa ating mga bayani, I think
Gregorio del Pillar is a nice and worthy name he sacrificed his self so that Gen.Aguinaldo can escape the Americans pursuing him.

Well, Mr. Idiot (your nick is a fair description of your person?), spoon-feeding was never taught in UP.  If you want to find out about anything, you don't need your prefect to come to your haus and teach you XYZ.  Modesty aside, I have friends in high places not only here but also in other countries and that gets me privy to certain information which I try to share here for others to pick up.  How they decide later on the info is their ballgame.  Note that this site's readership is not limited to the confines of your barangay nor to your IQ level and much more to your social standing and it is an insult to its international community for you to belittle the character of its audience.  The youtube video of Ms. Charice was never intended for Ms. Oprah's website nor geared for Mr. Foster's world but it did got picked up and metamorphosed into a phenomenon.

Better do it as private message. sabihin nyo ang totoong pangalan nyo at ano ba talaga mga trabaho nyo and we'll see...we'll see if who has access to classified information then....sige nga?

classified or unclasssified...hearsay or fact...these are information that may mean nothing to an ordinary human being compared to someone who is working for military intelligence..

fact is...you don't value things that you don't need! Tama?

the thing is, it is good to know that we are doing something to improve our military capabilities. this is part of the modernization plan and let's cooperate.

would you rather be part of the solution or the problem?

The navy ... should be the primary service arm to be modernized first .... since we are a country of many islands ....but i just hope we don't spend all our money on combatants units ..spare some for hospital ships , shore radars for the whole phil., inland fast ships or riverine patrol crafts, supply ships ...... this will help us even on disaster relief so it will serve as a multiple purpose surface platform
