Masama po bang mag gym pag tapos ng work (office)?

I'm actually not sure if this is on the correct thread (pakilipat nalang kung sakali)

Shifting kasi ang oras ko sa work,

May 8am - 6 or 10am - 8,

Kung shift ko sana is 8am or 10am, masama ba kung mag gy-gym ako after work? 6pm / 8pm? (pagod?)

Kelan ba ang tamang oras ng pag gy-gym? sa umaga? ang problema ko kasi; pag sa umaga pag pasok ko naman sa work sobrang pagod. ok lang ba mag gym after work?

actually gusto ko lang mag pa-payat. at mag pa firm siguro ng katawan. d ko balak lumaki yung parang namamaga na sa muscles hehe.

Tama ba. Magpa-pawis? (tapos onting buhat?)

pasensiya na madaming tanong hehe. sana may sumagot :)

Nope, you got the correct forum. Hindi naman masama. Ano ba ang nature ng work mo? Baka naman ma-dehydrate ka niyan kung diretso ka sa gym? Pero ang pangontra lang dun e pag-inom ng tubig.

If you only want to loose weight sir,i would rec0mmend you to do s0me cardio exercise nalang instead of working out in gym. Kasi ang goal mo lang naman e magpapayat. Best time to do it ay pag umaga,kapag wala pa laman tyan m0..

ako din sir. same consent, balak ko kasi bumalik sa pag gym. madalas ay night shift ang trabaho ko. hindi kaya masama kung mag gym ako after shift let say mga 8 am or mas maganda kung bago ako pumasok sa trabaho? maraming salamat..

papayat mode lang din ako, nasisikipan na ko sa mga sinusuot ko eh

there's nothing wrong, im doing  this even going to work:-) i even take just 2 hrs right after work to gym:-) i even take a bath in just few mins after doing steam bath:-) Aim High! dont forget to have banana... & lot's of water

gawain ko yan, i always work out after work to relieve myself of stress, and like boss ugat i take a quick hot shower after working a hard and heavy workout. it makes me feel relaxed.

more protein (lean), more fat (healthy MCT's), and less carbs (high GI out - go for low GI foods like oats, camote, etc. just eat high GI foods (preferrably bananas and some protein powder after workout to replenish lost glucose in your bloodstream after working out), and lots of water (around a gallon per day, excluding 2 liters while working out).

training wise, go for a compound exercise (barbells / machines) and 2 or 3 isolation exercises (dumbbells / machines). aim around 12 - 20 reps per set for 4 sets, and employ high intensity training techniques (super sets, tri sets, giant sets and drop sets) to squeeze out all the cuts you want. throw in 2 25 - minute cardio sessions (before and after your workout) and you'll be headed to chick city in no time.

i suggest looking for an MMA gym.

lifting weights at treadmills are so boring kasi.

I used to work two jobs. from 7am til 3pm then 4pm til 8 pm. tapos diretso sa MMA gym ng 8 30pm hanggang 10 30. I only did it for a month and a half though pero sobrang epektib.

lumiit tyan ko tapos nagkaroon ng definitions ang mga braso at legs/hita ko. May matututunan ka pa.

I make sure din na umiinom ako ng multi vitamins everyday after lunch, tapos fish oil din. tapos sa hapon ulit after ng meryenda, fish oil ulit. tapos after ng gym inom ako ng isang maliit na carton ng chocolate milk. para mabilis magheal yung mga na tear na muscles mo. para the next morning hindi ka masyadong sore.

sir ang nature po nang work ko eh sa comp. softwares; in short buong araw akong naka harap sa PC sa office. ayun lagi po akong naka upo. natatakot na ko kasi wala na talaga akong exercise.

@airboy830 ano po yung cardio exercise? (sorry hindi ko po talaga alam)

tama ka medyo boring nga ang weightlifting at treadmill (para sa'kin).  toast::

@TS: maganda yung suggestion ni pareng gardov. Try mo din magsearch ng vids sa youtube (mma training workouts).

Wala akong alam sa pinas e. pero sigurado naman akong merong mga maliliit na gyms sa pinas na nagpa praktis ng jiu jitsu, boxing or muay thai.

Boxing gyms sigurado marami sa pinas. Maganda yung training regimen ng boxing. puro cardio talaga.

I think guys with little member build up their bodies to compensate, as far as i know prolonged used of steroids do that-pampaliit which some body builders use. basta ba everything in moderation is ok and too much of everything is bad ;D

hindi naman masama basta ba mOderate lang ung pagbubuhat kumbaga magpapawis lang pangtanggal ng chOlesterOl sa katawan at pangpOrma na rin atleast firm and tOne ung muscles...

i use tO wOrkOut befOre when my wOrking schedule is 8 tO 8(day/night shift)...ala naman naging prOblema kahit anOng Oras mag-gym...kabaliktaran lang sa akin kasi kung sa iyO gustO mO magpapayat ang sa akin naman gustO kO madagdagan ung timbang kO atsaka gustO kO may hugis ung katawan kO...

a big no Ayus mag gym aftter opis kasi tanggal stress yan bro but maybe 6 or 8 pm start is ok but not in 10pm onward kasi maisira ang sleeping habit mo but start ng 6 or 8 pede pa matatapos ka b4 10 1 to 1 and halft hour sa gym is ok na   gud luck nd drink lots of water especially fruit or vegies shake

ok lang yan sir. maganda nga yang pantanggal ng stress basta ang iingatan mo lang eh yung ma over fatigue ka basta tandaan mo pag nararamdaman mong hindi mo na kaya light workout na lang gawin mo bukas na lang.
