Help please - If you have the cash, what would you  buy? this is just for my Tita, I guess office / FB / I guess games for her son but not hard core.

No, pasok na sa mall prices yang range mo, 25 - 30k max limit anything na may i5 and low-end videocard, ganyang range generally, opinions will vary among brands syempre.

eh diba mahal pag sa mall? I thought malaki matitipid pag sa Gilmore.. anong brand ba maganda ngayon na wise ibili yung 25-30k

you can get great deals from malls if you know how to... i checked i5 asus laptops with discreet 2gig vc last december at gilmore and cubao... the  initial price given to me at gateway was 31k and 30k average at gilmore... i returned the next day at gateway and tried to haggle with the salesperson and he gave me a discount of almost 3k bringing the laptop's price at 28k... just learn how to get the best deals ts...

Gilmore is great kung nagbubuo ka ng PC, otherwise, yung cash prices sa malls is very low also, maybe just 1-2k higher than haggling with Gilmore.. so kung dadayo ka pa, I say just go to your mall distributors. Nung bumili ako ng i7 , ang tag price nya e 55k, then got it at 42k cash. that's how low it can get, official brand outlet pa yun ha.

well, if he can afford it, why not? that's a 2-3 years investment in specs if we're to base on releases...
