GB = Dedicated Memory so that system memory is not used for Graphics purposes
Bit = Memory interface or how fast the video card accesses/uses/controls the memory
Gddr3 vs Gddr5 = older slower memory type vs newer faster memory type
pacorrect na lang if i got anything or everything wrong

Me thinks MC got it right. Nakakalito na mga feature ng GPUs ngayon. Mayroon pang mga shaders, CUDA cores etc. Ni di ko rin alam kung ano yun. :D
-
CUDA cores are processors but use for GPUs only
bits = the higher the better and faster ::lmao

may nagsabi sakin na ung GB daw eh para din daw sa size ng monitor mo. example pagmas malaki ung monitor mo eh mas maganda eh mataas ung GB mo. is this true ba?
-
not necessarily higher GB means better card. example, the games you will play only consume say 2GB, so even if you get 12GB card, 2GB lang naman gagamitin ng game mo so no use yung extrang 10GB
-
so higher bit is better?

Some generic answers above.. pero kung gusto mo ng mas technical ng konti, eto siguro:
GB is just that, memory na allocated for graphics processing, the more the merrier pa rin, lalo na kung gusto mo masubukan yung Ultra settings
bit = allocation space ng addressing for passing data = (higher number == wider instruction space == more instructions) = faster processes
yung mga "special" features, nilagyan lang nila ng pangalan yung dedicated pipelines for processes i.e. 2 pipes for pixel shading, no-context-switch processing, etc.

Lets put it this way. Lets say cars are the informations being fed to your video card for processing
the amount of VRAM (GB) is your car park. The larger it is the more cars you can store.
bit is the size of the road your cars travel through. The wider it is the more cars can pass through at a given time
GDDR basicaly is the speed your cars can travel.. Gddr5 is faster than gddr3.
A large carpark is useless if you dont have enough "cars" to fill it or if the cars going to and from it are traveling at a slow speed or hindered by small, tight roads leading to a traffic jams.

add ko lang. most amd cards mataas vram and memory bus pero that does not mean na mas ok sya sa nvidia card with smaller vram at bus. amd is on old technology kaya mas kailangan niya ng bigger bus at hindi dahil malaki vram nya (lets say 4gb) ay kaya nyang iutilize lahat yun. (eg. gtx960(128 bus) vs r9-370(256 bus) r9 270x(256 bus)). also, higher vram = more textures and higher resolution, take note dapat kaya din ng chipset mo.

dde3 at ddr5
ok ganyan yan
nagumpisa ng ddr1 tapus ddr2
doble ang bilis den ddr3 at nagddr 4 then five
meaning nag increase ng speed sa second third .. and fifth generation
so question dalawang 4gb dd3 sa mobo at ako isan 8gb ddr5 ram ano mabilis?
simple dalawang ddr3

let's say your os is 32 bit and your gpu is 64 bit, will the gpu be compatible with your os?

yup , gagana yan , di related yung Operating system mo sa Memory interface ng GPU

i see... thanks for the headsup sir...
