Ferry caught fire in Ormoc City Port

Last Saturday, August 15, 2015, M/V Wonderful Stars caught fire in the port of Ormoc City. The inter-island ferry came from Cebu, and docked at the port at around 4:30 a.m. when a crew turned the fire alarm. According to Coast Guard spokesperson, Commander Armand Balilo, all 544 passengers were safe, and only 3 crew members were reported got injured trying to put out the fire.

good thing it was docked... if it had happened during sail, then there would have been casualties for sure...
