80GB PAL na "fat" po yung sa amin,how do we know kung anong version & yung game na gusto ko sana is ntsc( from us). Any chance for this to work? thank you sir

kung ang ps3 mo has 4 usb ports sa harapan, it may play some ps2 games... but if you have only 2, you're out of luck

Question din ako mga bros, fair enough na ba ang 18k para sa 160gig na jailbreak? 160gig lang balak kong bilin kase may external harddrive akong 500gig. Suggest naman kayo kung san makakabili ng mura pero jail break na. I know meron mas mura which is 13k or 15k pero hindi naman jailbreak.

masyadong mahal yung 18k bro para sa 160 gb, mura na ps3 ngayon..meron na 250 gb for 15k, try mo sa itech virramall..

Thanks sa info sir. Pero sabi nung kausap ko nasa 14k or 15k nga daw kung hindi jailbreak then 18k kapag jailbreak. Sa bata ko lang kase ipapagamit kaya iniisip ko na mas ok sana kung jailbreak para instant pipili na lang ng games sa harddisk if ever na mag sawa agad sa isang laro. Willing naman akong bumili ng legit na games pero nakakapang hinayang lang kase baka yun mabili kong games di naman magustuhan sayang naman. If ever na jailbreak ba ang kunin ko meron bang 1yr warranty parts and services if brand new ang kukunin ko? Still nag dadalawang isip pa rin ako kung jailbreak o hindi depende kase sa sitwasyon mahirap na mag kamali sayang ang 15k. Anyway kapag legit ba binili ko pwede bang icopy ko yung buong games sa hardrive ng ps3 kung pwede man, pwede ko din bang gamitin yung 500gig na external drive ko? sensya na kabababa ko lang mula sa kabundukan kaya wala akong ideya sa mga ganyan. Sya nga pala sir ano nga ba yung jailbreak na nasa USB? bakit sabi ng kausap ko hindi na raw uso yun iba na daw jailbreak ngayon, paki sagot na lang mga bros para maliwanagan ako.

 una,mas nakakabuti kung pumunta ka sa shop ( itech,datablitz,etc.) at kakausapin mo ang personnel kung ano ang mga condition o warranties sa isang unit, gaya ng sinabi ko na the price depends on the warranties na ibinigay ng isang shoppe either jailbreak o hindi..

pangalawa, hindi ma-copy ang isang legit games sa hard drive, pero merong mga games na ma-download mo online via PSN,

pangatlo, yung external hard drive mo na 500gb pwede mo cya magamit kung SATA ,sa pagkaka-alam ko SATA support yung PS3..

and last, yung jailbreak na nasa USB yun yung sinasabing Multiman,marami ng version ang multiman ngayon,..ginagamit ang USB para ma hack yung system nung PS3 para maka pag play ng rips game from bluray..

depende yan dre,..may advantage at disadvantage

FAT - illegant look, glossy, some older version have backward compatibilty,( can play ps2 game ),prone to over heat
SLIM - charcoal black but not glossy, no backward compatibilty, less power consumption, less over heat

performance pretty much the same...

Salamat sa info mga sir! YLOD pala madalas na sakit ng FAT dahil sa over heat, and according sa mga nabasa ko kahit daw maayos pa hindi na rin daw tatagal babalik at babalik daw ulet. Medyo masakit din sa bulsa mag pa repair ang mahal, ingat din kase may mga case pala ng YLOD sa slim. So far decided na ko baka slim na lang kunin ko syempre yung legit hehehe

Sya nga pala some tips u can do to prevent YLOD

-Don't block any vents
-Dont put any objects near any of the four sides of the PS3 (even the HDD side)
-keep ur PS3 as dust free as possible, if u dont have a vacum cleaner to clear the dust in ur ps3 the just loosen up the dust with an ear bud or a tooth pick in the ventilation holes.
-Never move your PS3 when its turned on
-Never eject a game disc when the game is running
-Try not to scratch your games discs too much
-Dont place ur PS3 on top of an object (expect the table u place it on)
-Keep ur PS3 positioned horizontaly for better air circulation.
-Dont use any external PS3 coolers that take power from the PS3
-Just in case, put a fan near your PS3, although this isn't that nessasary 
-Don't Plug your PS3 power cord directly in the power socket, but instead use an extention bar

 *if u take off the flap or the HDD slot covering black thing (I Dont Know wut its called), it can reduce the chances of getting the YLOD*

An intresting Fact:

The chances of getting the YLOD actually increases during the winter than summer because during summer people open windows or use air conditioners for better air circulation to cool off, which means, high air circulation and low temperature. during the winter, people shut their windows to keep the heat inside, and people also use heaters to increase the room temperature, which means, low air circulation and high temperature, which is equal to YLOD.
