gagana lahat yun, so long as supported lahat ang lahat ng brands ng motherboard mo. to know kung supported sila ng mobo mo, check mo yung manual mo, nakalgay dun kung ano ang supported

of course, masisira talaga yan in the future (ano bang ram and hindi masisira???).  pero masisira naman talaga lahat yan in the future

other than that, walang problema kung iba iba ang gamit mong ram. sa office, iba iba ang brand ng ram na nakakabit dun. lampas na 1 year since naging dalawang 128 yung ram, walang problema

pasabit po.........

kahit po b magkakaiba nag pc# (diko alam tawag dun) nila like for example ang ram is 256mb pc 333 pwede bang samahan ng 256 0r 128 mb but pc 111. basta magkaiba ng pc# sana maintindihan nyo ibig kong sabihin.

tnx.......

mardz di pwede yung mag kaiba ang pc#.... iba2x kasi ang mga latency rate nila... kahit ma detect nya ang 256ddr(pc111) + 128ddr(pc100) = 384 right, pero hihina ang PC mo dyan.... palaging mag hang....

pc # is the speed of your ram. kung mag kaiba ng speed, your mother board will usually process the slower one. kaya kung may pc333 ka at pc111 your ram will be processed at the lower speed.  so a setup of 3 pc133 will run faster than a setup with 1 pc333 1 pc300 and 1 pc111 kahit pa parepareho ang size nila (in terms of mb). obviously dahil sa pc111 ang lowest speed mo.

But you can tweak this a little with the CAS (Column Address Strobe) if it's an available option in your BIOS. You can use a setting of 2 instead of the default 3 in the BIOS, this will use only two clock cycles for the initial data instead of 3.

Masisira ba agad ang isa sa kanila? Depende (and tama si sir bod). Pero in the case of your memory setup, we can predict na mas mabilis ang wear ng lowest speed ram mo because it is running in its full capacity unlike nung faster ram which is running way below its full capacity. That is ofcourse only an assumption.

Hope this helps.. correct me for any mistake  :)

sir, latency po is the rate of delay in processing info between the processor and the ram. the higher the latency the slower your ram performs and thus affecting the whole system. pero basically tama rin kayo na it would slow down your system... ;)

umm.. i dont think match yun

pc111 is sdram, pc333 is ddr

you can only use one, either SDram or DDram. hindi pwede both. pero kung parehong DDR for example pwede kahit makaiba sila (i.e. pc266, pc333,pc400), same with SDRAM (PC100,PC133)

unless your board allows such, though I doubt it

@Dave Lombardo:
okey lang pagsamasamahin ang magkakaibang brand ng RAM

@bodieph

Kung wala kayong manual search niyo lang through google with your motherboard's name....

pwede mong ipagsabay yung 266 and 333. pero the 333 will only run at 266 speed. and yes, its not advisable to do that. pero pwede syang ipagsabay

for better compatability and performance mas ok kung pareho sila lahat

advice lang, if you want to install ram in your computer mas maganda kung magkakapareho sila,kung pc333 ang ilalagay mo yun lang dapat and if you want to install a 512mb ram it is advisable na parehong capacity sila. ex. 512=(256mb*2)=(128mb*4).siguradong patok yun mas improve performance ng pc mo.

advice lang tyong tignan mo yung board mo kuna ano pc111 or pc 333 etc
ok kung pc333 sya hanapin mo yung first slot ng pc sa ram intall mo dun yung pinakamatas

halimbawa 256 ddram pc 333 insert mos a 1 slot

gets then pababa sa ibang slot
