Who`s been long here in the making of salted eggs?
« on: May 27, 2017, 04:48:00 am »
I made this experiment, I did exactly the same procedure as follow:

   SALTED EGGS

   Ingredients:
   6 cups water
   2 cups salt
   Egg 12

   Procedure:
Every 3-cups of water add 1-cup salt. Boil water with salt. Keep warm. Then, put all eggs. Make sure it doesn`t come up on the surfaces or just make an object to keep the eggs hold down. cover the solution ion a bottle or plastic. Wait for 18-20 days. Boiled the eggs.

For some reason, there wasn`t fresh egg are available I bought tray eggs in dozen from a department store. I know you have taste when it comes to different birds; chicken, ducks, swine, etc,  but want to try chicken eggs.
The bad thing is when eaten it taste a bit salty, not very oily- then it must be refrigerated to low temperature first before it could be served.
How about much better than these. Is there any other way if no cooling steps require.  tissue please::

Itlog ng itik sir ginagamit dyan, yan kasi sikat sa victoria Laguna. Yung naglalangis langis pagkahati.

Hindi lumulusot yung lasa ng asin sa chicken egg e, gumawa din kami ng 1 batch dati, matagal binabad.

don't really know the exact reason for this... but it's the curing period medium for the salted eggs as they said...

I think daya yan para evenly distributed yung asin at para tipid sa asin. Hindi kasi magdidisolve totally yung salt sa tubig at di magsesettle sa ilalim. So instead na 1/2 parts water and salt, pedeng 1/3 salt and 2/3 sand na lang.
