Topic: Planning to buy my first car. For EcoSport or Fiesta Sport.

Hello po. I'm planning to buy my first car. Last year pa po kasi ako nagpaplano bumili ng sasakyan and nakaset na yung mind ko sa Fiesta 1.5L Sport PS kasi gusto ko ng sub-compact na hatchback tapos biglang naglabas si Ford ng EcoSport 1.5L Trend PS this year which is a bigger version ng Fiesta. Nagrequest po ako ng testdrive sa Ford para sa Fiesta Sport and EcoSport. Napasin ko parang mahina ang hatak ng EcoSport kaysa dun sa Fiesta. I'm a total newbie pag dating sa cars so hindi kaya sabihin kung ano sa 2 ang mas maganda ang performace. Need you opinions. Thanks!

Kung hindi ako nagkakamali, same engine ang Fiesta and Ecosport.. As such, natural lang na mas mahina humatak yung ecosport since its bigger and heavier.. In choosing a car, you should always go for the one that fit your needs.. If you need more space and higher ground clearance and willing to sacrifice driving dynamics go for the ecosport. If driving dynamics is more important, go for fiesta..

If you want both space and driving dynamics, look somewhere else..  You might want to consider the Subaru XV or Forester.. Plenty of space and great to drive.

ayaw mo ibang brand TS?

kung manual transmission ang bibilhin mo wala sigurong problema, pero yung power shift option (sports AT), madaming nag rereklamo. malakas shift shock, leaks, etc.

join ka car forums specifically the car brand/model of your choice para malaman mo magiging sira o maintenance problems na maari mong maranasan in the future.

Hanap ko po both space and driving dynamics. Hindi po kaya ng budget ang Subaru hehehe. Around 900k or less than lang po ang kaya ko.

Open po ako sa ibang brand kaya lang po para sub-compact hatch and tipid sa gas parang Fiesta na po ang pinaka ok (not sure). Fiesta and Jazz sana pinagpipiliian ko pero naunahan na ako ng kapatid ko sa Jazz kay Fiesta na lang natitirang option ko hehehe.
