ABS-CBN News anchor Korina Sanchez was reportedly suspended for one week on TV Patrol. According to sources, the Kapamilya network made it look like Sanchez will only be leaving for a vacation.

The report came from PhilStar.com saying: “Isang linggo palang hindi mapapanood si Korina Sanchez sa TV Patrol. Balita ng source, bakasyon daw ang press release na pinalulutang.”
Korina vs Anderson word war
The suspension was suspected out of Sanchez’ raves against American journalist Anderson Cooper of CNN. On the Wednesday episode of her radio show “Rated Korina” in DZMM, Sanchez criticized Cooper after he reported on the government’s menial response to the needs of Yolanda survivors. Sanchez said: “Itong si Anderson Cooper, sabi wala daw government presence sa Tacloban. Mukhang hindi niya alam ang sinasabi niya.”
