If I'm not mistaken, another version of this particular tale involves SM Marikina. Personally, I doubt if it's true. I'm more inclined to believe the tale regarding one of the managers at SM San Lazaro who supposedly has a harem (for lack of a better term) composed of some of the cashiers and salesladies working there.

Malabo nga siguro yung sa SM Marikina.  Kasi, sa design pa lang niya, you can tell na na take into account yung possibleng pagbaha.  Kasi nga yung lower basement parking niya, pwede isarado kung tumaas yung ilog, tapos may alternative exit dun sa higher level yung sasakyan, at di na umabot yung baha dun (I should know kasi, dun sa carpark natulog yung isang relative ko).

Well, with a story or stories like these, I'm reminded of what a character from Ring (or Ringu, of you prefer) said: "This kind of thing... it doesn't start by one person telling a story. It's more like everyone's fear just takes on a life of its own. Or maybe it isn't our fear. Maybe it's what we secretly hope is true."

and the Grocery section ng SM Centerpoint ay nasa Lower Ground floor.
but still, I have no idea kung ilan (if meron nga) ang na-stranded.
