: New driver need help!!!
: xxx October 02, 2007, 07:00:13 AM
Guys and gals,

Any links or ebooks highly appreciated po.

May kasabihan nga tayo ng experience is the best teacher  laffman::

pwede ring Teacher is the best experience hehehe

about two years ago, i told my friends: if i know how to drive a car and how to swim, i'd be perfect.  of course, that was an exaggeration. but i learned how to drive this year.

it was a little bit difficult mentally coz driving a car is different from driving a motorcycle. first and foremost, i cannot see the wheels of the car, so i dont know which direction it will move until it had started moving. playing with a toy car with movable front wheels did the trick .. hehee.

my advice is when you start to drive on the road, be careful with all those maniac jeepney, taxi and tricycle drivers. they stop and run and turn without any warning. the most common mistake i made in my early days was being in the wrong lane. you know, if u need to turn left, be sure you are already on the left most lane several meters before the intersection. stuff like that. and learn how to change flat tires. my father did not teach me how. so, im now teaching my 6 year old son how to do it.

i still dont know how to swim...
