Sabi sakin don't buy an iPhone, kasi parang Ipod lang at phone siya in one.

My biggest complaint is the keyboard. Alam mo naman na tayong mga pinoy di pala tawag, kundi pala text. Yung touch screen keyboard nya, e ganto. Naka limang text na ako, di ka pa tapos mag type ng first message mo.

Porma factor, yes ayos ang iPhone. Aside from that wala na. I'm waiting nalang for the n98.

I've been an iPhone user since its first release in June 29 '07. I remember falling in line for it  ;D okay siya gamitin. Very useful naman ang mga features niya. Although, there are a lot of features na you wish that a phone of this caliber should have pero missing. But for the features na meron siya, I find it all very useful. The keyboard issue, as mentioned, needs some getting used to. The lack of physical keys makes it hard to text/type without looking. But if you are typing in English, then as long as you know your QWERTY, the predictive text is very useful so you can still type without looking. It's not 100% accurate, but it gets the job done when you need to look away from your screen while typing. Not to mention, the phone learns some words that you often use that is not in its dictionary like our Tagalog words.  Biased opinion, but the phone is worth it. toast::

i've been using mine for about 5 months now..so far so good! kso the only problem tlga is the texting part because of the qwerty key. most iphone users missed their txt or calls kc isa s main problem nya e ung default volume nung mga ringtone n ksama e medyo mahina. although you can adjust the ringtone level lalo n ung mga ringtone n ginamit mo from itunes using a program called audacity. at ung ringtone n gs2 mo should be around 30 secs lang kc yan lang ung allowed nung iphone so magcucut k ng part ng song n gus2 mo ilagay as your ringtone. in terms of transferring music, themes, pics, wallpaper at movies e nandyan  ung itunes.  when transferring themes download k n ng WINSCP(for windows user) o FUVU o kya cyberduck( for mac users). well kung techie ka at mamamaximize mo potential ng iphone mo well you should buy one at kung pang porma lang din nmn ang habol mo e gagwapo k pa lalo dito sir synapse hehehehe as sir fangdyne would testify  ;D ;D ;D..maganda kung sya tlga ung main phone mo kso base s aking experience at s mga friends ko n naka iphone din its a must n meron k pa isa pa phone for texting purposes(khit prepaid lang ung isang sim) at kung nsa alanganin k n place..alam mo nmn panahon ngyon hehehe cge sir buy k n kc blita ko s friend ko mas tataas pa daw price ngyon ng iphone kc nga malapit n dumating ung legal n version s sept hehehe pag may tanong ka s iyong bgong gadget e magpost ka lang d2 at bka makatulong kmi syo hehehe e2 pra syo sir synapse at s iyong binabalak n iphone toast:: toast:: toast::sna mktulong ung mga nashare nmin syo ::werule

sir synapse congrats nga pla sa bgo mo IPHONE hehehe..well i just wanted to ask what do you mean by modify? gs2 mo ba lagyan ng apps , change the themes or ringtones? i'm assuming na na jailbreak na yang iphone mo at nakalatest firmware ka na din..well if you are using a mac just download cyberduck kc un ung ginagamit ng karamihan ng mga nakaMac na gs2 maglagay ng apps at maglagay ng themes sa summerboard folder mo at baguhin ung sms alerts mo. regarding sa ringtones use audacity and choose the part na gs2 o gawin ringtone but make sure its 30 secs or less..tpos save mo ginawa mo sa desktop then change the file from .aiff to .M4r then drag mo dun sa ringtone folder sa itunes then i sync mo lang sa iphone mo then presto..instant ringtone! if ur using a windows OS just download WINSCP. equivalent sya ng cyberduck sa mac. ::werule

for me... no competition. syempre iphone. ;D

iPhone Advantages

Brand Elevation. The iPhone home page establishes one central on-device portal for accessing all of Apple’s rich content and standalone widgets. By establishing a consistent look-and-feel across all of the iPhone widgets, Apple elevates its brand. No matter which widget they use, users get the same user experience, navigation, and look and feel. The on-device portal approach enables Apple to “own” the end-to-end user experience on the phone.

Fewer Keystrokes. By letting users drag-and-drop-and-touch, Apple eliminated as many keystrokes as possible to discover and access rich content. This, I believe, is a smart move, considering a simple music download from a carrier portal can take 18 to 39 clicks to execute. That’s a huge usability hindrance as most people abandon such activities after six clicks.

To further ease data entry, iPhone widgets also connect with the Personal Information Manager (PIM) software on the phone. This enables users to quickly email or text content to a friend. They can grab addresses from their contacts and use them inside widgets to reduce data entry – a key feature of any on-device portal application.

Requests Remembered. The iPhone also remembers recent requests. Search for stocks using the stock widget, and the requests will be stored, eliminating the need to reenter the same information later. Similarly, by offering personalization features in the widgets, Apple prevents repeat data entry.

Encourage Action. When the iPhone displays content, an “action bar” at the bottom of the screen provides further options for using the content. (e.g., find an address for a restaurant, then map door-to-door directions to the restaurant, then get current traffic conditions.) Okay, maybe it’s not called an “action bar” – that’s what we call ours – but it’s cool. Nice job Apple!

Multimedia Content. iPhone will offer music, streaming video, podcasts, movies, YouTube, and more. Nobody does multimedia better than Apple, and dedicated applications are the best way to deliver these services.

cheers!

For me, the things i don't like about it is:
the keyboard when texting.
To forward messages, you need to download weTool from the appstore (installed already when you buy), and it is free.
No video recorder although you can download from the appstore.

But it is very very useful.
You can make speed dials with a picture of the person.
You can see the text messages in "clouds". So when you need to go back and read the conversation again, no problem.
Calendar app is very easy to use and useful when you are keeping a tight schedule and remind you things
Mail app. You can login in any email server (tama ba?) The good thing is you can look at those e-mails (with their attachments; though limited) even if you are not connected to wifi or 3g.
You can use it as an emergency blinker or flashlight. Although you need to download in the app store, good thing is 1 minute and it's done.
You can download for free bible, encyclopedias, dictionaries and some books like Sherlock Homes.
A to Do list.Useful when traveling or a checklist like grocery shopping.
Messenger. Similar to Yahoo Messenger and you can connect to different servers too.
I Pod feature.
Safari app similar to firefox or explorer.
Translation app though limited to few languages but still useful for learning.
Weather report. You can add a specific place and it will tell you 5 days of weather reports for that place.
Alarm. Just in case of emergency.
Calculator. Occupied the whole screen of iphone. You can convert it into a scientific calculator too.
Maps. Similar to google earth.

and many more.... You can download anything you want in the app store. Only few are trial versions but you can still use them in 1 month or lifetime. Though limited features of the app, you can save what you videoed or what.

Medyo mahaba. hehe hope my insights can help when you decide.
