Intel Core 2 Duos are way better than athlons, for me, i dnt know about other users who still prefer AMD, im still using an Intel P4 1.6ghz since 2002 and started running it 24/7 jan 2005 when we got DSL WITH no additional cooling MOD(just the stock CPU fan)

PLS buy ur pc parts at a pc retail shop NOT inside a MALL, like PCX branches that have no branch inside malls, sa mall outlets kc wala masyado maganda parts

personally i prefer AMD (cheaper and performance is just about the same for regular pc use). but lately, with the release of core 2 duo, laman na ang intel. AMD is lagging behind coz their X2 processors are a bit behind with core 2 duo (FX series na katapat ng core 2 duro)

Monitor: 17" LG L1753S Flatron LCD   -  8,200

if you are a gamer (which i think you are judging from the specs) i dont this will do. this LCD only has a response time of around 16ms if im not mistaken. for gaming, LCD response time has to be 8ms or lower

also that mobo you chose uses intel 945 chipset, medyo luma na yan. i suggest you choose another mobo. you can forgo the other things like gigabit lan

i thought 965 ung chipset 945 lang pala, ADJUST accordingly to a newer chipset, ung LCD mo 5ms ang response time sa online details pero sa tindahan bakit 12ms? better choose one na as sir bodieph said 8 and below

This would work:

Asus P5B-E Plus P965 16X/DDR2/Snd/Lan/Raid>>> 9,900.00
MSI 965 Platinum 16X/DDR2/Glan/S-Raid/1394>>> 9,850.00
Asus P5B P965 x16/Dual DDR2/Glan/Snd/Sata >>> 7,400.00
MSI 965Neo-F P965 PCIE/S/L Core 2 Duo >>> 5,300.00
