Well, it's officially late August, meaning that the bit of buffer between Intel's Core 2 Duo desktop and mobile launches should be over any day now. Word on the street is Monday's locked and loaded for a barrage laptop releases with their latest powerhouse dual core mobile processor -- the one some may still know as Merom -- on board. (And thus, we ask for your forgiveness in advance when we have a slew of laptop write ups early next week.) In other words, if you were considering snatching up a laptop this weekend -- PC or Mac -- you'd probably be best off waiting until at least next weekend to do it; who knows what kinds of goodies we'll see in a couple days, right?

US nga po bossing, hehe 2007 pa makakarating mga Core 2 Duo notebooks sa pinas, IMAGINE up to know advertised pa rin na TOP OF THE LINE laptop ang INTEL CENTRINO M!?!?! worth P40k pa rin d2 sa pinas(a lot of them in Gilmore)

not true, meron na mga bentang dual core na laptop sa pinas. i came accross one last 2 weeks ago sa octagon. pag punta ko nga wala na, nabili na. sabi lang sa akin ng tao na meron daw isang bagong dating na dual core pero nabili agad. pero tag 75K ata yun

Core 2 Duo po not Core Duo, magkaiba po kc ung Core 2 duo sa Core Duo, and ung popular Centrino duo is also different from Core 2 duo, unless sinungaling ung mga tao sa engadget.com sa monday pa lalabas ang unang batch ng Core 2 Duo Mobile notebooks and laptops and would most likely start at $1500

i think un pong 60-75k is only Core Duo(or centrino core duo)

I went to Fry's and ask how much and it was $750+Tax.
And they need to order it first.
And i went to the website too.
And you need to preorder. Siguro yung sinasabi mo tol Xtian eh yung release na hindi na kelangan magorder.
Im planning to assemble nalang.
Pag bibili ka kasi ng manufactured PC eh masyado mahal.

And you need to preorder. Siguro yung sinasabi mo tol Xtian eh yung release na hindi na kelangan magorder.
Im planning to assemble nalang.
Pag bibili ka kasi ng manufactured PC eh masyado mahal.

waaaaaaa I meant mobile as in NOTEBOOK/LAPTOP, i already know matagal na narelease ang Core 2 Duo for desktops, sa monday ang official release of Core 2 Duo MOBILE based notebooks and laptops

i think yes official launch retail storewise na nde ka na oorder ng matagal ,on a side note I LOVE FRY'S kahit na mukhang bodega hehe, imagine SM manila all PC and electronics stuff lang ang tinda hehehe

ang nagkalat dito sa atin (Q8) is CENTRINO DUO & CORE DUO..dami dun sa hawally..i just had finished 1 unit (assembly) knina na CPU is CORE DUO,nkuha ko lang ng KD85.
