The movie looks so different from the book but nevertheless it looks promising. If you like reading horror novels check Jonathan Marburry's Joe Ledger series "PATIENT ZERO". I'm on the 4th book and the author can write action movies like he's John Carpenter.

Dawn of the dead for me would still be the champ!

Weren't the Infected in 28 Days/Weeks Later technically still alive? At least the ones that weren't mauled or bitten to death in the process of contracting the Rage Virus, anyway. They supposedly starved to death before the story of 28 Weeks Later began.
Seigneur Master Chief, would you happen to remember if there was a zombie in the original Night Of The Living Dead that was able to run after a car and another zombie that used a rock to smash the headlights of a pickup truck? After Night, all of George Romero's Dead movies went with the slow, shambling zombies.

Yes, technically.. But they're brain dead, (with the exception of the mother in 28 weeks, she had a sort of immunity) so they basically count as 'dead'.. It's just made that way because the writers wanted a realistic approach to the zombie genre, and it still is considered by many as a zombie movie..
