mga ka-espiya.. mjo confuse me..i am currently working in a governmnt agency kasi for almost 3 years. i realized tlgang wala ako mkita direction kung san punta ko after 3 4 or 5 years. i applied sa ibang company but kip on failing.. hirap kasi pg nalman nila na from government ka. iniisip agad nila na tamad at no skills ka, but i am not.. i received several awards and csc eligible din.. pg iniisip ko ung rejections ko sa mga inaplyan ko e naiisip ko n din na cgro para dito talaga ako sa public office.. tama b gnitong mentality ko..pls help!! i am losing my confidence na kc!

no offense dude, pero kahit ako ganun tingin ko sa mga gov't employees. just keep trying nalang. ika nga, try & try until you succeed. try to start like sa call center or yung medyo madali makapasok, tapos kuha ka experience dun kahit 1 yr tapos tsaka na apply sa dream job/position mo.

nagbago isip ko dun ah.. ndi n ako magOOJT sa mga gov't agency..  .. try and try lang tol.. kung mejo hirap p rin.. try mong maghanap ng ibang work then kuha k lng experience para mawala lang expression nila sa'yo.. tama ang sinabi ni dirty sanchez.. try call centers

No offense pare. But here's my tip. Improve your english speaking/writing skills. Most companies will judge you in the way you speak/write. Since they cannot judge right away if you are hardworking or not. Example is your thread subject "confuse employee here!!!", it should be "confused employee here!!!". Therefore, in making your resume, be doubly sure to check your spelling and grammar.  And of course dress and look your best. Good luck on your next application.

to topic starter, just apply and apply. nde naman yan nakukuha sa few applications lang... be patient bro.. sabayan mo ng dasal. and if your worry about na they will say something to you dahil nasa government ka, ask yourself. matino ka bang employee? ikaw naman nakakaalam niyan. wag ka padadala sa mga iisipin nila.

Tama si madcarabao pare. Daanin mo sa dasal. Di naman lahat ng gov employee tulad ng nakikita natin sa diyaryo at tv. Mabuti ka pa sa ibang tao at alam mo kung ano at sino ka. Ano nga palang field of expertise mo?

tama sila, try and try. kita mo ako, 3 years ako panay ang apply, walang nangyari. kaya nagtayo na lang ako ng sariling negosyo 

mahirap kasi maghanap ng trabaho. plus yung mga kalaban mo pang nag-aaply eh minsan from bigating school. imagine, ako dati nag-aaply ng comp tech, ang kasabayan kong applicants eh 1 from la salle na graduate ng ECE. 1 from MAPUA na ECE grad din. paano ba naman ako matatanggap eh, grad lang ako ng AMA.

you cannot blame the common tao for thinking that govt employees are less skilled, less disciplined than those in the private industry. just try to visit any city hall, at 1030am, they are having lunch already.

my observation is that most govt employees have more leeway in their schedule, which means that they can easily squeeze some free time even during office hours. why dont you try taking up law or some other post graduate studies so that merong additional pogi points yang resume mo?

exactly. opinion ko lang naman e. kaya nga i put "no offense" & "tingin ko". sa lahat ng bagay kasi wala naman nag-aagree. there's always yay & nay, diba? i may like meztizas & you may like morenas. i can't hate you for liking them, ganun lang. pano rin naging crab mentality yun? alam ko crab mentality hinahatak pababa. sino o ano hinatak ko pababa? sa totoo lang i have several relatives working sa govt. & i still stand by my perception about some of them.

dati 1st job ko sa gov't pero lumipat ako, stagnant utak mo sa gov't at lagi na lang palakasan ang laban....dude gaya ng sabi ng iba na try and try yan rin gnawa ko dati.....wag ka lang sumuko makakaalis ka rin dyan...........

tama si toblerone, very stiff talaga competition pgdating sa trabaho. sino nga naman pipiliin ng company e d xmpre ung grad from reputable universities.. i am BSCS grad but i admit na limited knowledge ko kasi school namin focused more on non-major subjects rather than major.. mga madre kasi ngpapatkbo that's why puro religous activities ang concern nila.

it was just also my opinion/reaction.. d2 kasi satin, parating negative ang tingin sa government pati sa mga tao nagwowork sa government. thats why i thought of crab mentality. in a way, nanjan parin sha.

tyaga lang bro... makukuha mo rin yan... di lang siguro ukol kaya ayaw bumukol... ako rin career ko sa work ko parang roller coaster ngayon lang naging matino... pwede ka ring mag-aral uli habang work para ma-expand ang knowledge mo at ma-pursue mo talaga kung ano ang gusto mong field na pasukan... think positive lang makukuha mo rin yan... also don't forget to pray!

Walang madali. Lahat dapat i-work out para makuha mo. I-picture mo ung bagay na gusto mo sa isip mo tapos un at un lang ang isipin mo lalo na kapag depressed ka.. Isipin mo un hanggang sa pinakamaliliit na details. Then think of the ways pano mo makukuha yun. It is better than to think of those things na nagpapasama sa loob mo. Kapag ung mga bad things lang lagi ang nasa isip mo stocked ka na jan. It will be your life. Either you do something or be buried with it. Look around you with a clear mind. Free yourself from those things that hinders your advancement. There is something waiting for you to grab and hold. You have the whole world to expand and explore. Keep trying. Keep praying. Keep thanking Him for all the things that He had given and for all the things that He is about to give. Whatever it is that is in your mind, own it! That is yours. Don't let that disappear because that is already yours. Own that vision and work on it til it becomes your reality.

if you have received a lot of citations and awards... maybe there is a bright future for you in whatever agency your working for. But if you are not satisfied with your current situation, just keep trying and trying and eventually you will find a job that would suit you well.

at para kay confuse employee, tama sila improve your self first. ang mainam dyan, dapat magkaroon ka ng maraming kakilalang nagwo-work din sa private sector, tapos pa recommend ka at pa-backer sa application mo. kahit ano pang skills meron ka, sa panahon ngayon kung wala kang backer walang mangyayari sa application mo. saka masyado nang maarte ang mga private companies ngayon. yung application test nila ngayon parang board exam na rin.

bakit ayaw mona sa government? marami ka naman yatang benefits at me pension ka pang makukuha. me mga company na halos di nagbabayad ng sss. kaya good luck na lang bro.
