64bit vista?

guys paki advice lang sa pros and cons ng OS na 64-bit like the 64-bit vista ultimate. likewise narin sa mga sys and hardware requirements. although ang processor ko 64bit ang architecture nya (intel core 2 quad) salamat

quad core ka? wow! hehe sa pagkabasa ko, tska sa ibang mga forums, minimum ram for 64-bit bista ultimate is 4 gb. sa 32 bit vista ultimate naman is 2gb lang.

 ;D Ang tibay ng processor noh. Astig masydo. Quad-Core tlga. Mas mabilis guro yan kng 4Gig din ang Memory mo.

Ang advantage lng nman ng 64Bit na Software like Windows XP 64Bit o Windows Vista 64Bit, kc kya nyang mag handle ng memory up to 64Gig yata. Whereas ang 32Bit na Windows OS, 3Gig lng ang Kaya nyang e detect. So kng may 4Gig ka na Memory, 3Gig lng ang ma detect nyan ng Windows. Pro kng naka Windows Vista ka, parang ma detect na ng Vista ang upto 8Gig ata na memory. Pro sa Windows XP, 3Gig, pro kng may e install kang hotfix sa Windows XP 32Bit, ma detect na rin nya ang 4Gig.

Sa software din, mas mabilis ang 64Bit, kso ang prob nga lng. Konti pa lang ang software na compatible sa 64Bit operating system. Lalo na sa Windows Vista.

Yon lng alam ko.  ;D

 ;D totoo yan pero ang nakikita ko lang naman na pinag kaiba ng dalawang os(32 &64) is is yung handling ng memory kasi nasubukan ko sa mga games na grabe ang need for memory...pero ok na yung 32bit kasi medyo may kamahalan din ang 64...

grabe tlga etong microsoft. ang takaw kc sa memory ng mga applications nila. antayin ko nlang ang apple mac os X leopard. compare ko anong mas maganda. konte nga lang ang games for mac. pang editing kc tlga ang mac eh. hehe

May nagsabi pa QUADCORE. Vista Does not support Dual Core processing except for Business and Ultimate Editions. This means QUADCORE is not supported by vista. AS OF THE CURRENT TIME (NO OS SUPPORTS QUADCORE PROCESSORS). I have been testing VISTA aka "Longhorn" since the alpha and beta test period. May japanese downloader kasi na nakakuha ng OS galing sa microsoft test tapos ikinalat sa net using P2P software. IF you are currently using Q6800 or Q6600 ok ang VISTA x64 ULTIMATE because of 2 reasons:

1. 64 bit processing is faster than 32 bit processing given your software supports it.
2. VISTA ULTIMATE supports dual core processing (mag E6600 or E6800 ka nalang kasi overkill and useless yung Q series).
