FINDING HOPE
?DON?T become hopeless in your spiritual endeavors,? advise the great sages. If you sense hopelessness in your life, here are insights that may help you overcome it:
1. Problems brought about by material distress are temporary. Like a storm, they come and go. Nothing in this world lasts forever.
2. Turn the negative into a positive. Tragedy can be a turning point for the better. Seek the transcendental plane when you are drowning in material distress.
Humility
3. Accept things with humility, and you will see opportunities opening up for you. When you feel low and unqualified, you should appreciate the blessings that come your way.
4. Even the birds and lilies in the fields are provided what they need. The Supreme Being abandons no one.
5. If you feel unloved and rejected by people, focus instead on the unconditional love that the Supreme Being has for you. When you have the Perfect Beloved by your side, you have everything you need.
6. If you lose something now, that makes one less thing to freak out about at your deathbed, when everything is taken away from you.
7. Hope springs eternal in the hearts of those who know they are loved by the Supreme Person, whom they are certain will never reject them.
8. When things fall apart in this material dimension, it?s time to seek shelter in the non-material plane.
9. It?s your birthright to be happy and successful because, by nature, you are a child of the Supreme. Hope lies in the Supreme Being, who is the source of happiness and love.
Tiny steps
10. Take tiny steps towards God, and He will make giant ones towards you.
11. A person who humbly asks for help catches the attention of God. The Supreme Being is always eager to assist those who turn to Him for love and protection.
12. You are loved, and the Supreme Person is your unconditional lover.
13. There?s a way out of this world of misery: A close relationship with the Supreme is a means and an end -- it?s real and achievable!
