A German fusion reactor, called Wendelstein 7-X stellarator manage to produce 40 million Kelvin within 26 seconds through nuclear fusion.  By fusing hydrogen atoms which create helium and the massive amount of energy produce by this process is better alternative  than nuclear fission. The stellarator uses superconducting magnets to create plasma and smash the hydrogen atoms together, thus releasing energy. A more effective and believe to be a cleaner source of enerygy compared to nuclear fission

In order to produce nuclear fusion using sterallator, it need tritium and deuterium which are isotopes of hydrogen. The fusion reactors create plasma, then heats  up and fuse hydrogen atoms that give off energy which in theory can be harness to produce electricity.
Scientist are optimistic that further test and research will provide a better use of this experiment in the future.
